Sure, I tootle at all wattagesCan a Velocity tootle, Boden? I'm running mine 50+W on a cheap, regulated squonker I got from Focalecig (it has a bf pin).
Actually that build is lovely at 32W (0.5 ohm at 4V)
A more traditional build

36 is a lot?I've never made a coil that had that many turns. I don't think I could withstand the emotional strain![]()
Thats 8mm wideI once did a 20 wrap. 10 wrap parallel 26g from 2 strands. That was one big mama coil.
The coil in the velocity is a 12/11 wrap tripple parallel 30 gauge, 2.5mm ID.
I stuffed mine into a LemoI don't have a lot of RTAs that have room for such things, and I do mostly use RTAs.

Why would you stick a 8mm wide coil in a Lemo.
Let me guess.. To see if it could be done!!
Me tooI still do strange builds just to entertain myself. But some have really paid off. The Rose vertical and Aromamizer quad vertical.
I build to the size of the airflow slot. The velocity has a a 8.25mm wide slot so I build to between 7-9mm wide for it.
And I always feel a little sad re-wicking it, 'cause the old wick comes out with a full ml of juice in it. (maybe I should wring it out into the juice well).
Time for some braided coils...Me too
Speaking of, time to do some sciencing!!
You are frugal.![]()

Clothes all beat up and full of holes? I save them for painting or masonry work. Or changing oil.
The wife is always collecting material for the "Stash".It would be interesting to see what would happen if you took up quilting, with your tendency to collect...personally, have have a couple thousand yards of fabric, but I still save scraps and re-purpose used clothing.
