okay so im playing catchup on the flavors i have mixed with so there will be a few posts lol.

Mocha Description: a rich and tasty mocha. This flavor is very useful in blending with other flavors such as french vanilla.
can be sweetened with our Cotton Candy or ethyl maltol crystals.

Deluxe French Vanilla Description: This is a stronger, richer French Vanilla. It may be too strong for some, but we still have our original French Vanilla!

Equipment Used: Kr808d-1 and passthru from V2ecigs

Mix: 15% mocha 5% French Vanilla in 50pg/50vg @ 18mg

Review: Delicious... could drop the mocha alittle and add some more Vanilla, But together they compliment each other perfectly. It literally tastes like you are vaping a fresh Vanilla mocha. When they say the french vanilla is strong they mean it... i did a 50/50 french vanilla at 20% and its almost too strong of a taste. Mixing them i would go no more then 10% and that may be too much.

Overall if you enjoy a good Coffee I would recommend both flavors together. and are ones that i plan on buying again.

I got the regular French Vanilla from here... and it is very strong too. I did a 10% of this... and it was way too strong. It seems that TPA doesn't follow the same quidelines as far as drops go. Meaning, you should probably use less drops than what the calculator tells you to... or lower the percentage of flavoring. I think it's a good thing because it means it should last quite a while as you only need a tiny bit of flavoring.

Are you changing the drops per ml area on the calculator to accomidate the dropper bottle your using ?

Yeah you can go alittle lighter on the mocha flavors, That was one of the first batches i had made and i did like it. I like strong flavors myself, and i found that i really enjoyed it at those approx. levels.

I'm having a problem with my first attempt at DIY. I can't really taste the french vanilla. Does it have to steep first? I used 20 % then even tried adding more. Doesn't really taste like french vanilla. Just kind of weird. Is it possible it's the base I'm using? I git it from Wizard labs. 70%pg 30%VG 24 mg nic. Even addred stevia as sweetener. Could that mess it up? What am I doing wrong? Same issue with the watermelon. I put it in a cup of hot water for about 30 minutes. Maybe it needs to steep?

french vanilla by its self does have a different taste then what i was expecting. as odd as it sounds when i made a french vanilla batch, to me it tasted like a hospital smells (that sterile, sanitized bland smell) with a hint of Vanilla. but like i said mixed i tasted it just fine and it was good. of course i could have added too much flavoring... i may have to try again... maybe.

As for sweetener yes it can ruin a flavor if added too much (make it too sweet and tastes like perfume) I would recommend try the french vanilla at a lower % like 10% with 1% sweetener. that is what i made my first and only attempt, thus far, at a french vanilla is at 20%. As for your issues with watermelon do the same start with only 10% flavor try a few drops (love dripping thus far for taste testing) then add alittle more where it needs it.

As for steeping, you can try it. set aside the said flavor for about a week, then come back and try it again. its a hit and miss chance.
