I got the 1.5 ml 2.6-2.8 phoenix. (Phoenixes...Phoeni )

I filled it up with 100% PG (The little hole didn't get punched all the way thru so I had to force the needle thru hard) so far I really like it. (About 8 draws worth) I'll give it a few days and see what I think. I also filled up one for Hubby when he get home with his red hot cinnamon so we'll see how that goes.

We'll be using it on homemade vv boxes at 4.0

Got my box of 2.4 2.6 ohm Phoenix this morning. I must have hit Bingo 1st try. How I hope nothing changes. Working on my second fill so I haven't put it through the wringer yet. At 4.2 volts it was keeping up with no dry hits but seemed to be struggling with a slight flavor change at the end of the draw. I kept dropping it until I hit 3.4 and it seemed to get better. At 3.7 it's the cats pajamas. Flavor and vapor production is awesome. Pretty please get them in 808. There is a desperate need and adaptors stink.

ok, note to all... i saw in a video that the tubes are slightly flexible... do not test this theory (i did) and very gently pushed on it, they are slightly flexible, but it gave the spot that i gently pushed that scratched look that ce2's seems to get before they start cracking, so yes they are slightly flexible but dont stress out the tube. btw no i have not had any leaks from the slight cracking look, its not cracked in anyway just looks stressed. ill let you all know if it gets worse, but again that was my doing, not a juice or anything like that. the tubes seem slightly flexible and strong, probably to help keep things like Cinamon from cracking them.

yes they wont crack but this type of tube will show stress if squuezed and later on in its old life. just looks like lines and stres but nothing more.

And I sincerely hope that it lives to be a million years old. I want to pass this on to my children. Not to use, but to put up on the mantle when I'm gone as a reminder of how much I love it.

Seriously. I mean, things could go downhill from here (and it has happened before, unfortunately) but I'm thrilled. Bad, GotVapes, thank you so much for working so hard to create this thing and bring it to us.

as many have noted, if its working top notch, it usually stays that way after cleaning and refilling many many times

im seeing some report of 1out of a pack not wicking perfectly
so im looking into since the others are fine, im going to assume that wicks arent aligned properly or bunched up by the hole form the factory and seeing how reseating the inner post can help, it seems simple enough.

also bonny i did not create these, i was just a helping hand in getting them improved through the mnay months.

i must have squeezed that one at some point then lol it has the little stress lines and there is and actual crack in at least one place for sure but the tube 'seems' air tight still... but i think that's my sign to slap that one in a syringe tank and see how she does.
got my new ones filled one up with gv grape no leaks no dry hits even got it on my stingray right now vapin a big ol cloud lol
somebody said the fill hole doesn't go all the way through and i am pretty sure it isn't supposed to - that's how it maintains the air seal. if it isn't sealed the juice drips right on through. prolly why there were some problems with the vortex caused by the mouthpiece not sealing well...
personally i like these tubes better then the new flux ones.

btw, just a sidenote for Bad and everyone... the "rubber" drip tips that each pack comes with 1 of are actually very nice, its a harder rubber, not that thin cheap rubber drip tip stuff i usually see, its close to the feel of a delrin drip tip honestly

And the packaging of my vivi nova is so nice that i almost dont want to take it out cause it looks so professional LOL!

Ok got my Phoenix bottom coil 2.4-2.5 and an addapter so I could use it on my Volt X2. Followed all the instructions and tried it and it tasted terrible. Watched the video on cleaning it and reseading it and still tasted bad. I kept trying it, thought it needed broken in but man it was killing me with the taste. Am I doing something wrong?

Try a different one, My 1st one was nothing but dry hits too. The second one has worked perfectly so far through 2 tank fulls... chain vaping and all.

Personally I'm still having issues. They are better for
sure, but still having to primer suck or tube squeeze every 2-3 hits to get the wick going.

And I do get bubbles cOming out of the wick slots as I vape, so it's not like it's not happening.

Gonna play more when I get home

If anyone has a sure fire way to eliminate frequent dry hits please lay it on me

Already tried 100% PG, adding a second wick on top of the first, priming the coil with juice before filling...I even took one and widened the slots with my dremel (vertically) and one of that changed anything. No leaks or floods with that mod though.

Really want to get this running at 100%!

So I too got my pheonix Clearos today. I'm having the exact same issue as Cyrus. So far I have only tried one, but the flav is muted at best, and I'm getting a lot of so called "dry hits" (that nasty burnt type tast). I've filled it up 3 times already and it's been the same all 3 times. I think I'm going to tear it down and do a little investigating with it. I really hope the rest I have arn't like this, I'll have to try a few more of them and see.

Bad I just filled my third and its just like #1 and #2. Its great when it hits right, but I have to prime/pinch every 2-3 hits again :(

I did watch your video that you linked earlier. Is that the same one that shows you reseating the post? I'm not sure I saw that part....just a disassembly, cleaning, re assembly I think. I'll re watch it now.

Of the two I took apart the wicks were perfectly centered and fluffed, taking up the entire hole.

The one new idea I had was this: If I drag really hard it seems like I can get more bubbles and get the wicking going while I'm dragging. But I mean really hard. Now I'm using these on a Riva 901 and a Riva 510 with the gotvapes fat cone that accomodates fluxos and visions. The cone isn't a tight fit, its a bit airy. So I figured maybe if my draw was tightened up I could generate more negative pressure and get more bubbles without sucking so hard. So I tightened up the cone a bit with tissue paper. The air flow got tighter, but it didn't help.

as many have noted, if its working top notch, it usually stays that way after cleaning and refilling many many times

I am having the same issues with the 2 I have tried on my provari @3.7 and 4.4 volts so I put 1 on my ego 1100 mah passthru battery and it performed better on it without the passthru but just the battery

no flavor comparied to what? I'm getting GREAT flavor (with the stinkie bo-how chinese primer) not a atty killer yet, but these bottom feeds are SO much cooler than the top coils and so far the plumbing is working with no drainouts
compared to tasting some flavor..lol
