Both my 3ML and 1.4ML Phoeni (plural?) are working really well. Nice cool vape. I am really impressed that the 3ML vapes as well as the smaller one.

The amount of primer is a little much in the ones I've tried, but they are very easy to clean up before vaping. I've done a small trim of the wicks, and they are just a tad bit better.

Funny, I didn't notice any primer in mine. Then again, I'm on the verge of a severe NIC OD, so I prolly just vaped that on in too.

i can not believe how good the phoenix xl is working. i have been a hard-core boge 2.0 guy for at least half a year. i have tried so many different cartomizers (filler and non filler) and i have always come back to my trusted boge. i know its still early, i have vaped this only one night but i gotta tellya....this thing is beyond awesome. if i can get a week out of this carto, i will not look back to any other carto, boge 2.0 included. the ce 2's i got ( "new improved ones") were kind of a fail for me and as all you ce2 fans know, they are really juice hogs. the xl phoenix does not use up the same amount of juice, nor will it spit juice into your mouth every so often. i am absolutely impressed by this carto.

steeljan was right!

to all you boge carto lovers out there, try this carto.

seriously, try it.

i have bashed many of gotvapes items i have tried, this is not one of them. good job guys.

Has anyone tried the CE3-XL before trying the Phoenix? If so, how do they compare?

Errol

They compare really close. The Phoenix is more consistant with ohms, so far. And, different tips and needles. I haven't compared the coil and wicks yet, but the usage is the same.

After a day with all my new stuff... The phoenix seem to be great, been getting some dry hits, but, not many. The viva nova is steady but it does lack a bit of flavor comparatively, I'm only using the 2.4 ohm. I'll try the others tomorrow. The crypto, barely used, put it on just now, after it being full and in my pocket all day, dry hits.. I like the phoenix much better than the ce2's, which is great because I hate MiT/ST. So I don't need to buy their products anymore!!! Can't really go above 4v on anything or they go dry, but, they work except for the crypto... I'll have to play with that.

TL/DR Phoenix work well, some dry hits, Viva Nova works well, lacking flavor a bit, crypto 8... Not so much, dry hits all around, but I'll play with it.

Very interested in your observations of the coils and wick LD. I haven't dissected one...yet but there is something different with these. Different as in good.

I will agree with that. The Phoenix do seem to have the edge. I am not sure if that has to do with the more consistant ohms or not, or if the coil is a little different. I like the drip tip that comes with the Phoenix better than the CE3 XL.

I'll say this, these are light years better than the only other bottom coil I have used, the X7. Bought the x7's for the wife since she liked the LED, but she would not use it at all because of the burnt juice syndrome. And that was with 100%PG juice. I'm on my 3rd fill of Boba's and each tank is even better than the ones before.

They are much better than the x7's were. The Phoenix are "out of the box good", and that can't be said for a ton of items in this industry.

Besides, the box looks really cool too.

X7's were the worst carto I've tried. Bad made good on that with this order though!

MiT/ST = Weak Sauce
Gotvapes/Badkolo = Hot sauce

I *so* wish these things were more consistent all around. Everyone has different experiences... On this one, when I get it to hit right, the taste is outstanding, better than Stardust. But with pure VG, it's just not wicking well enough, I get slightly burnt taste a lot - not dry hits, exactly, but just off-tasting. How you get Boba's to work in yours mystifies me... That's why I'm saying what I'm saying about consistency.

I tried the X7, and had no problems with it, wicking-wise, even with VG. But the taste was off and weak - as with all bottom coils prior. Now, this one doesn't seem to suffer from that syndrome - if I could only have it wick well... Right now I'm getting two good hits, and then have to wait five minutes or so.

I'm a chain-vaper! :D

But it does have promise for me. Need to get me some thinner juices. The ones I have are months old, and some don't taste so good anymore...

If it hit's dry, take a few draws without hitting the button. Seems to draw the juice into the wick.
