Well this is my post #1000 and I decided this thread is where I wanted it to be as the Poldiac was the first authentic mod I purchased and is my favorite mechanical mod.

I am not sure if all of you know of the lottery that MMVapors has every month or so on their forum on their website. You use your order numbers as a "ticket". Each order number gives you an entry into the lottery. They give away some nice prizes to the winner, often a new release that is just coming out.

Sucking you in man!

Lol I remember someone winning the actual hybrid prototype. Now that's a one of a kind prize there

How bout an RTA designed for single coils, non Genny style? That might not be a big seller tho, since I guess most people like the DC's, and lower Ω's than I do. I just can't get into the wire mesh. Always go back to the cotton, or rayon wicks.

Oh I wouldn't say that! I think single coil RTA users exist in large numbers. I mean look at the Kayfun, one of the most commonly used single coil RTA's. So I agree with you, I would love to see MMV create a single coil non-genesis style RTA. :D

Yea I def could dig a single coil dripper. Don't care for the duals, its the only thing that stops me from getting a OO. Usually run mine at .6 with ribbon
, and make a hybrid threaded version as well.

Ya I only go dual coil with certain drippers, but I usually run single coils in my Gennies and bottom coil tanks. The Aqua V2 is the only RBA that I will run dual coils on, even though you can do singles with it.

Yes they have been supplied to the customers who ordered them early on.
Here is a post that was on MMVapors facebook page that was posted on march 2nd. " Thanks MMV... Loving my new Kainos. #26"

They have just listed a 26650 battery version Kainos for sale on MMV website.

I have sent a design of mine to Jim for a dual 18650 wood box mod with the new Yihi J temp control board/chip. I have not heard back from him yet, but I know he is thinking of a dual battery mod. I am not sure which board/chip he is thinking about using. I really hope he goes with my idea for the temp control one.
If any of you want such a mod, it can not hurt to let Jim know. He does listen to his customer's wants.

Oh cool! I have to go to their FB and see if anyone has posted a real life picture of it ... a dual 650 regulated sounds sweet. Let us know if you hear more about that.

Happy 1000th post dear! I knew they had lotteries but I didn't know that they held them every month though.

I asked before about where the "clothes" section is on the mmv website, but all I can find now are the sorta "special edition" things.

I'm looking for a set of brass clothes, I'd prefer brushed/matte/satin but I'd do polished as well. Is that a "sometimes available, sometimes not" sorta dealio?

I DO really, REALLY dig the brass "knuckles" clothes though. A lot. Like, a LOT lot.
Of course, this will all have to wait a while. My budget is still bruised from the beating it took to get the Poldiac in the first place.

Go to the discount section, all of the clothes are on sale and there are brass versions for each as well :) But even when not on sale the brass clothes are nicely priced IMO. Its really too bad for me that I like the $200 Rope Clothes :glare:

I was just admiring the stunning beauty of my MiriamWTH, just the mod a lone, no topper. The in hand feeling is also second to none for me. I am sitting here with all my mechs looking at them, holding them .. the Poldiac is just all that and a bag of chips

Help ... I need to know the best way to go about hand polishing SS to a) increase/heighten the mirror finish of a polished piece, and b) to create a polished finish on a brushed piece.

I have some wet/dry but 1000 grit is the highest I have. I also need to know what kind of polishing compound to use? Keep in mind that I wish to accomplish this by hand .. Help Nikki get her shine on!
