What do you guys think about the silver plated contacts?......some people are saying it tarnishes too fast and that it should be redesigned. Also does the Poldiac have a way to lock the button?

I love the silver plated contacts since silver is the most conductive metal (much more than brass) due to it's free electrons (solid silver is far too soft and is expensive too). That's the reason it hits so hard . He did put a nice layer of silver on it (15 microns) but we just have to be gentle not to be overzealous in buffing in order to protect the plating...

What kind of voltage drop are you guys getting AT the coil on this puppy? I'm soooo tempted but honestly, my modified CCTS hits so well I'm having a hard time pulling the trigger. I personally don't care about the whole "status symbol" schtick when it comes to high end mods ... but it would be nice to gift myself something nice and purty.

no answer about droppage on my Pold. but it does depend on how clean the contacts are too...
- i have more attys than devices, and need another backup mechanical device before my ELA comes out; what is a CCTS, and what did you do to it?... if you will

CCTS = Chi-Chi = GG Clone.

All I did was remove the chrome plating from the contacts so they are now brass. I get about a 0.3 volt drop on my AGA-T2 at the coil ... not too shabby considering I paid $27 for the mod.

I also refinished some of the sections to a gold color ... but that doesn't effect performance, just makes it look nicer IMHO.

Looks like it is stuck in "Import Arrival" in Philly right now... Maybe that is some customs inspection? Who knows... But, if it arrives tomorrow as scheduled, I'll be pretty impressed!

Looks like it is stuck in "Import Arrival" in Philly right now... Maybe that is some customs inspection? Who knows... But, if it arrives tomorrow as scheduled, I'll be pretty impressed!

I also ordered a Poldiac last Saturday and it shipped Monday. Was supposed to be here yesterday but got held up. What do you know the UPS man just dropped it off!! So excited!
