Tell me about the Hibiki whiskey.
After living in the UK for a couple of years, I've been guzzling Grant's, but always open to exciting alternatives.
I used to be a bourbon drinker, with an occasional scotch. This whiskey is a scotch, very clean, a hint of smoke and some sweetness like honey. I also get a little spice, not quite a cinnamon. Very pleasant flavor that shifts while sipping it.
I gave up all whiskers a few years ago, along with everything gluten, due to a diagnosis of celiac disease. I did some reading recently and discovered some celiac so tolerate certain malt distiller beverages, so tonight I am conducting a personal experiment. Maybe I'll have to pay the piper, maybe I'll be OK

it's worth it regardless, I do so miss my whiskeys. Thankfully, there is a Canadian brewery that does justice to a few different Gluten free beers, Glutenburg is their name, goodd beer is their game

it ain't cheap though...
PS...it's Kn0ttys fault, she kept posting them pics of the pretty bottles hear teasing my appetite
