I didn't recognize Detroit, but I haven't been since 1996. I used to go to Windsor for the clubs and decided to stop in Detroit for breakfast once. Bad mistake. I was lost and ended up near downtown, which looked like Old Detroit from RoboCop, burned out cars on the side of the streets and ladies of the evening walking around at 6 in the morning. The McDonalds had plexi glass across the front and a bank style turn window for them to get you the food. I decided to wait until I crossed the bridge to have breakfast. I'm sure the city has cleaned up a lot since then...

Yeah, the guys at the hotel bar I would stay at tried talking me into going to Windsor but I just couldn't.
Border guard going into Canada: "Sir, have any guns or drugs?"

Actually, the people there are quite friendly and everyone gets along. They've always treated me real good. I've always said, if the people in the rest of the country acted like Detroit, we wouldn't have race problems. Another one I tell people, I would rather be lost in the ghettos in Detroit in the middle of the night than the Bayous of Louisiana...

Wow, real GQ! LOL It is said your chances of getting stopped and searched at the border are raised exponetiontatly when wearing sunglasses. When I went there with a team from work, the team leader made us take off our sunglasses when we got to the border before attempting to cross.

Hey, I posted this in another thread and thought I'd share it with you before I put the pic away. This is how I roll when going mobile. The pill case has a spare shorty drip tip, coil and my percocets. The holster has a belt loop in back. I very rarely carry the battery because those Samsung 25R last 2 daze in the P3 plus, I carry two spares in a battery box in my Jeep. The juice holder I carry in my watch pocket.
