Did you ever take them coils apart and look at what the wire and the cotton directly in contact with the coil look like? I usually break apart my Aspire and Nautilus coils when they taste bad, they are pretty nasty inside...
No :(
Usually I'm at work and just get frustrated and throw the coil in the garbage. But these coils are .5 ohm and are pretty big. The top hole for the chimney is big enough to see the coils and the cotton around them.
If I'd had to guess the problem
Cotton packed to tight and can't wick fast enough to keep up with my vaping.
Just a guess

Chief... I cannot totally confirm this, But...

Try boiling a new one before use and see if you notice a difference.

When I get paid next week,I think I will order a Calix for my Radius.

Just got to figure out which one to order
I like to use a glass tank but they are sold out I think.
How good is their plexiglas tank? Will they Fog or crack with citrus juice?

I have not used any tank crackers in mine Chief, but I am fairly sure that they will crack. I kind forgot that they had glass tanks for these, I never had one. This is the one I bought.

You might consider getting the SS tank, for it until they have the glass ones in stock.

My hotel room has a microwave
I never tried a .5 coil in my KF 4 :?: Maybe I will try that when I get to my hotel.
Only thing, my KF4 weighs more than my Radius  so it makes it a little top heavy.
I been using it on my P3 (in minimode) for this reason.

I am remembering now why I gave up on the KF style tanks, I could never find a good tank that wouldn't crack or fall apart when you picked it up by the tank.
