So PureSmoker was sued because someone else used wrong batteries. How is that possible?
Welcome to Amelika!
You can sue anyone for anything if an attorney will represent you, not to mention all the media hype that went on about it!
He lost his business over it!
The attorneys were able to substantiate that Puresmoker did not adequately publish, or make WELL known "use at YOUR OWN risk", LiOn batteries go boom, yada, yada, yada...
They stated that Puresmoker showed intentional negligence...BS!
Google it; it doesn't give the details of the lawsuit settlement, but having had known the guy (still do) and many in the business I know what happened.
Matter of fact I initially only knew of the one law suit, Zen (Mike) from HOH told me about the other and then I found articles on it.
Provape would probably do it if the P3' weren't "convertibles" and had a fixed 18650 configuration.
My understanding is they are trying to figure out "how" to do it and have a rock solid (as much as possible) liability release / disclaimer...
I have been told by Provape the P3 chip set will support <.1Ω, 40 watts, and temp control, now putting there is another thing!
They also want to be able to recommend one or two readily available batteries that will support the super high drain of sub-ohm, temp regulated vaping, etc., etc.
