wow, the cotton is rockin now. i didn't do a big loop, kinda used half as a loop, any way, i'm a happy vaper right now.
now to test the drip tips....

wow, firstly let me say, vapor production with the cotton far far far exceeds celllucotton!
cellucotton must have a taste. because the cotton tastes cleaner, and i noticed i'm able to take better lung hits.
i had been having a harder and harder time inhaling.

the gp drip tip is a clear winner.
more flavor on the inhale. could be my beck is a wide bore,
either way. stick with the gp tip :)

Oz do you have a Nanos

Nope. I looked at one, but I'm not all that happy with MMV.

I have a first run Ant by Holyland Mods out of Israel. A bit shorter than the Nanos. The Ant was the first super tiny tube mech at 46mm long (the Nanos is 53mm). Even now there's only one shorter than the Ant, by one whole mm (the Fortune).

The Ant also has a 201 connection, not a 510, which I'm totally in love with now. It came with an adapter so I can use 510 attys on it, but now that I have a Heron (also 201) I can't see myself putting anything else on it. The Heron was a KFL-killer for my situation. I'm even debating selling one of my KFL's now.

I seen you talking about your Ant is why I asked about the Nanos. I picked up a used Nanos just to try out their 6 magnet button and it is pretty neat.
I see a couple shops in the US has them for sale and I like the button so much that I'll probably pick up a new one.

The guy I got the Ant from has had both. The Ant can edge-out, but it's pretty tough to do so with normal use, just from the design of the ledge around the button (it's recessed). The Ant has no lock, but it's pretty hard to fire it unintentionally. The Nanos has the lock, but it unlocks pretty easily. He said button-wise they're about the same, just different. For my use, the Ant edges out the Nanos by just a little bit.

I still like my Poldiac & use it daily, but I don't have a need for 2 of them anymore. I put one up for sale maybe a week ago... a few nibbles, but it's still available. I still like the devices, I'm just over MMV as a company. Now that I have an Ant with 350 & 500 tubes, I have no desire for a Nanos anymore. It's just a lot tougher to get one.

Christ. The dna40 thread has got to be the most unpleasant thread ever. Shakes head. Some of the folks there are just rude and arrogant.

Yeah....there's a lot of that going round these days....I wish I had a hammer....hammer of ban....whatever happened to being nice and respectful to others...Pfft.../ rant off.

(sent from Mars, it's not as red as I imagined.)

I'm absolutely confused.

It makes perfect physical sense that if we are powering such low resistance on the dna40, you'll need an exponential increase in current output to achieve a certain wattage. There simply isn't a way around it physically, or at least none that I can think of. So that def impacts battery life negative

Someone on the dna40 thread is saying not at all. I'm puzzled.

Check your PMs about nickel...

The way I understand it. The Temp control setting actually gives you more battery life because it regulates the temperature of the coil meaning it blasts it to get it to temp and them drops the power output to keep it at temp. Instead of constantly slamming it with power like we do now.
How it works I dunno haven't read the how's yet. But I've seem a few things here and there claiming to get better battery longevity.
I'll find out in a few weeks I reckon

I'm sure the doc can give you a better answer but that's all I have for right now. :(
