Maybe I'm the only one still uses carto-tanks....but in case there are some others out there: Ikenvape's new product is in.
My favorites were the Platinums, then manufacturing got snafu'd and they went away. I didn't like the "Nitro" line.
Now he's got a new Platinum that by description, I may like a lot.
It fits two important criteria for me (not common, but it's what I like):
No flange, and big juice holes.
I'll be interested, but gawd I hope the availability of his products improves!

Hey Tony & Kiwi. I got the Tobeco Orchid V2 in yesterday.
I didn't know it was a Tobeco or I wouldn't have ordered it based on numerous negative comments I have seen about the brand.
However, I must say the quality is very good. Smooth threads, tank threaded on fine, and the tiny screws worked well, unlike what I read in the V1 thread.
Bottom fill was excellent as well.
Hard to beat for less than $25.00! Tons of flavor & vapor from 20-30 watts.
Built Dual Coil @ 10 wraps of 29ga @ 1.55mm @ .8 Ohms. Wicked w/CelluCotton, tails thinned and tucked in channels.
Cheap remedy for Shineyitis.
Yeah dude, the orchids have me almost rethinking my feeling on tobeco.
Congrats!!!
Yay!

And you prompted me to check my tracking. Mine is sitting in the mailbox!!!!!!!

And yeah. The tobeco orchid clone have been shockingly high quality. When I took mine out, I was very pleasantly surprised by the heft.

Then the threading and overall construction.... Overall and excellently made atty. Glad you're liking it!!! I vape mine at 0.7 ohms on a mech and enjoy it veeeery nuch

Bottom full hole:

The juice channels are just marginally bigger. Not sure if it's substantial enough tho...
I'll find out when my v2 vox edition comes in. Supposed to ship out on the 12th. The bottom fill definitely looks good! Can't really tell the juice channels from the pic. I didn't think they had to be much deeper. I unscrewed the chimney a tad and that seems to have helped... a little

Got my SKX stingray in. That is one crunch ....ty switch. Face palm.

But 0.1 VD on a 0.7 ohm atty is impressive
Supposedly taking the switch apart, cleaning it, Then dropping graphite or petroleum jelly on it smooths it out.
Personally I would use graphite, my petroleum jelly is always misplaced.

Am really having a hard time not pulling the trigger on another v2.5 Provari, could always use a backup in case I lose this one....

But the P3 is coming soon!

Ahhh! Wut do, Saloon??

For me, I need to study up on the new features of v.3 and discover how they relate to improving my vape experience. If they do improve it in a marked way, I will buy a v.3. Meanwhile, I just bought another v2.5 in gun metal because I needed a back up and it was pretty.

However, I am concerned about federal regulation and availability of certain consumables so I am now looking into tinkering and RBA, so I will need a Mech probably. I suppose this is a natural vaper progression. Cig-alikes to Clearomizers to Cartomizers to RBAs. Time to get off my happyass.jpg

Hahah too lazy. I did clean and use the electrical lube. Didn't help much. Gonna see if it breaks in after a while.

Here's it in hybrid with an orchid. Pretty sleek

Had a really cool day today, started out not so cool, My Bartholemew kitty had to make an emergency visit with the vet, I thought he was blocked, but no, just inflammation...he is now on human anti anxiety meds
Later I visited a local homebrew supply store and they have some ingredients I can use to make beer, and the owner will even order me some non-gluten liquid yeast culture! Woot! Woot! Then the owners wife told me about a small gluten free store about a thirty minute drive away! :) ( they have Donuts! )
Vape mail, got my no res-res-no res wires and re-built my Igo-L with a 1.6Ω coil, I am totally sold on the no res leads for coils now, Thanks KAS! I think because all of the heat generated by the resistance wire is located in just the coil area, the energy transfer is more efficient for making vapor, and the legs don't heat and cause the residual juice on the connection points scortch. It really tastes clean. Time to fire up the grill :)

Do what feels right for you, I'm going to be watching the classifieds for V2's and V2.5's when the P3's really start shipping ;)

If you haven't checked out the P3, I'd suggest watching pbusardo's vid. The specs and features on it are pretty impressive. With the ranges it covers it would also be suitable for RBA's, etc.

Or you could get both!

I've got my credit cards all paid off, and I was thinking exactly this ;)

I stopped using them when I got my Sophias. Even sold all the ones I bought.
