Well damn! How much coffee did you drink?

You do realize ECF is just a small portion of the vaping community right?

I've got the Atlantis & Kanger Sub Tank and I'M NO DUMMY! I'm lazy.....there's a difference.

I've got the iStick & eGrip for no other reason than I wanted one but for 2 reasons-
  • I like to experience things for myself rather than read other people's experience &
  • I'm lazy........they are 2 of the least maintenance free devices I can grab & go without carrying extra stuff with me.

Based on everything you said, this here "I think it is time for Provape to consider engineering at an amp limit that will support reasonable sub ohm resistance. Let's say 0.5 which would support the Atlantis and Kangar Subohm. And increasing wattage to 30..." makes your post come off like a rant.

You're saying Provape should do the very thing you deem a problem for the industry.

Nah..I just see it as a trend and I read a lot of newbie posts. I was once a newb too. If you read some of the posts I am reading, you might see where I am coming from.

We vets tend to forget what it was like when we first started vaping.

And no...subohming is not the problem but a lack of information about it could be. I would just love to be able to recommend a Provari for this application because I know they are great and safe.

As to this..."You do realize ECF is just a small portion of the vaping community right?" I do. Just as I realize that Vapers are still a small portion of the nicotine using community and the world at large.

It took me a long time of heavy vaping to find out my pg/vg ratio comfort. Even 50/50 will give me a heavy lung/chest if I vape it for a couple of days. I have found through trial and error that my best ratio is 70/30 and maybe 80/20. There are times that I will vape straight vg or unflavored for a few hours, doing that is how I figured out that I do not do well with heavy vg juices.

The cinnamons and custards was a much quicker, violent reaction. Scared the crap out of me. I really thought I was going to have to give up vaping. Long process to get back to normal, but with careful consideration of the flavorings in my juices I got there. Most vendors do not list or disclose the variety of flavors they use. I will not get into a long discussion of it here. I am pretty sure we are all aware of the topic(s).

There is also a decent sized group of people that have big problems with the pg. Two summers ago that is the main reason I read about for people vaping very heavy vg juices. Before the cloud makers got popular.

I had been making fruity juices @70/30PG/VG for a really long time and not having any problems. Then I decided I wanted to try some of the more custardy juices for a while. BIG MISTAKE for me!! With the additive used by some vendors to make the "custardy" taste and the VG for vapor and smoothness I came really close to being a statistic. So until I see the lung doc I'll be using my 70/30 diy peppermint and NOT inhaling.

It takes a lot of motivation on my part for me to even want to venture into the new member section. Things have changed a lot over the past year but one thing that will not change is my blood pressure- new members sections will kill ya!

As far as vets forgetting- I think vets have forgotten merely because they've long moved past *starter* set ups & these days they're not as outspoken as the new age vaper who thinks they know everything there is to know having only been vaping 24 hrs.

Exactly Lex. That is my point entirely. But someone has to steer them or the 24 hour vets will have them all befuddled. And that is all I was saying. Things move forward, technology enhances and I want to see my favorite Vape device move with it.

After all, most of us like the subtanks...because they are good. People want devices that support them. I want to be able to offer up Provape. If it never happens the Provari will still be a quality vape. Just hoping that like the evolution of PCs, we don't find ourselves out of the market for lack of growth.

Before you put something out there like that you might want to check with Clark and find out exactly what is in it- especially cause you're posting in a public forum that a vendors juice practically killed you.

I forgot to add- step outside of ECF & the problem is still there. I've seen plenty of people with eGo set ups but in my 'hood they don't realize it's an ecig (if you get where I'm going not going with this). When people see me with my A/PV the first thing they ask if it's.........................And *****IIIIIIII***** get offended to the point of wanting to punch them in the face.

I've lost my zest for wanting to teach & explain things because if ones mind is set on using it for something else, nothing I say is even going to matter.

And don't get me started ob those who buy ecigs cause it's the new cool thing but don't know they need to drink plenty of water or that feeling they've just described is nic sickness. I had one guy show me his juice bottle. 18mg sold to someone who smoked less than 3 cigarettes a day is appalling!

Total 100% agreement the concept of a mod costing in excess of 200$ usd and NOT having the ability to subohm(to 0.5) or fire at 30w; or, really not being able to fire a clearomizer does two things it makes it a total 'elitist' mod and it cuts out a reasonable size of potential customers, not that provape cares much. However it is a pretty lame move from the business side of things. Especially when you wanna claim it as a groundbreaking piece of tech.
Furthermore having diehard fans insulting the manhood of people asking questions online also does the same.

Dont worry I won't say anything after this post, just watching the conversation made it irresistible. I just can't help but watch all the things that it CANT DO, then the things it can doesn't appear to be much more than the 2.5 for almost twice the price. I mean that's cool, if its what you want, but shouldn't provape consider what the people buying mods want?
The sad thing is Most of the people in this thread are gong to think I'm being argumentative or an ashclown for thinking this way, when the reality is I have a lot of respect for the construction of a provape product, but if a well built product can't do what I want it to, it'll end up in the box with the 2.5s. I know SEVERAL people in the same boat. Maybe provape likes or wants to be considered elitist, rather than a good executor of usable technology.
When I see the posts of 'i only need 11w'. I think to myself, I'm glad that's all you need, but they need to sell mods to more than one person or one group of people in order to remain a sustainable business....gotta love economics.
Still the led color change is the best expense of r&d money I've ever seen. So much better than allowing different power parameters based on the battery.

I think that we all dream of our perfect device. For example, I would love a DNA bottom feed or even a Provape one. I think I mentioned a boxari...Lol

Provape is an innovative company or they would not be where they are today...just thinking outside of the box....No pun intended.

And I still love my P3. It really does deliver. I just need to use other devices to subohm. I can't imagine the coolness of using it to deliver subohm.

And for the record, I have nothing against nautis either. I was totally surprised how cool those were. I own one and bought one for a friend.

The world is not what it once was. Things and technology move fast. I work in an industry where if I personally don't keep my knowledge up I am no longer worth the money to my employer.

Everything moves forward.

I really lucked out, Tuesday morning they had them both in stock, and I ordered them right away, before my first cup of coffee. That night the full size was gone, but they keep going in and out of stock, Vape360 said they were all almost gone.

Well,..... I do not have the gunmetal Zenkote, so I am not sure. The color is nice, but it is just not one, that I feel I have to have, and it is not like I really need them, I now have 10 V2.5 Provari's. I think it is time for something else, the REO woodvilles are supposed to be out next month, and I really want one of those. If I could get one of the stabilized wood ones, I would be overjoyed, but I would also be happy with one of the other ones as well. :)

I have to agree with xstich, you are missed Tony.

I don't own a P3 up until they came out with the celtic knot design I just didn't like the design.Plus I had just bought the Ti mini so I felt that with the flat top cap I already had the best part of the P3.I also don't have an Istick, just never got around to buying one.

Then the Aspire Atlantis and Kanger sub tank hit and I got curious.I wanted to try them, no sense buying a P3 that can't fire them so I bought a IPV mini slapped a wrap on it (the finish on that thing doesn't hold up well) and fired away.

Next buy will be a Yihi Sx mini and then I will wait on a celtic knot P3 with 30 watts.

The post is fixed but I'm sorry to say that I don't know who Clark is. My intent was only information pertaining to me that might benefit a person wondering why too much PG or too much VG was making them feel unwell. Since almost every time I post there seems to be something wrong with it, I think I'll just slide on out the door and leave you folks to your own vices and devices.

Yes those woodys look veeery tempting! But I do love my gunmetal 2.5. It is a nice dark gray.

I received a gift yesterday, very unexpected but one of the best I have ever gotten!!

This was my dad's pocket watch for about 20 years! He died in 2000 so it's pretty special. It was originally given to my alchoholic brother who kept pawning it, grrrrr. I mentioned to my mom, about a year ago, that it would be such a treasure for me to have and then I forgot about it. She brought it to me yesterday after getting it out of pawn and told me it should be with some one who would love it as much as my father did! [emoji5]️ We both had a good cry thinking about him!

I think that is a good plan Lulu. There is some information floating around about the contents of some of the custards. Since you have a sensitivity anyway it is smart to steer clear of things that irritate you. I need to try a good peppermint. Can you tell me which one's you buy off the shelf?
