Choking chicken?
It's not about being offended. We're all adults and likely can handle more than what's dished out here. The constant innuendo and anti-gay stuff seems a bit much .. for me. Some comments seem rather misogynistic in fact. Fun for some, others .. not so much.

Ummm I didn't say anything about choking a chicken. I googled "sacraficial bird" and the first actual nom-cartoon picture was the turkey.
I apologize if something I said was anti-gay.... It wasn't an intent. In fact I worked really hard to not let anything I said be taken as sexual. Hence the pictures on almost every one of my post.
23 years of restraint experience had me working with SEVERAL people of several sexual orientations. I spent a lot of that time playing music in the French quarter while I am a proud red blooded straight American male. I'm also a libertarian and don't have any hatred or disposition towards any one over race, color, cress or sexual orientation.
How this thread came down to me having to say that in writing is a little disturbing in it of itself.
We all understood that it got out of hand. And this evening was a few of us trying to have clean fun and I don't know if y'all are so jaded by previous behaviors that y'all can't let go, or are trying to weed some of us out of the saloon. If the latter is the case say so.

Not sure how to answer after the flack I seem to be getting for whatever reason...
So I'll give you the boring honest answer.
The bird was basted with butter and cooked upside down. Then for the last half hour flipped right side up. The part 10 minutes she gets covered in butter and the broiler turned on.
Makes a juicy turkey with crispy skin. And the burn marked are the carmalization from the butter
