TFA RY4Double and TFA RY4 Asian are great! I do a bunch of different Hangsen tobaccos, and lately have been going bonkers with the Inawera flavors. Yesterday I shot 7- 5ml test batches of flavors from Inawera at 3mg/ml nic...these I will savor and analyze for tweeking while watching the tube. I have learned the hard way, to go low nic on my test batches...since switching to DIY, I actually tossed a bunch of vendor juice to make room in my airtight box.

I am using the EjuiceMeUp program and it is easy for me. How do you tweak your flavors if you think you need to bump up one note on the sample? All I know to do is add an extra drop or a few and wait a couple of days. But then I am not sure how to change the percentages in the program's recipe.

Like I said, brand new at this. I will figure it out but hate the guesswork. My objective is to be able to recreate the juice, not wing it. I take notes and use syringes, etc. Another problem is that I totally am mathematically challenged. lol

Airtight box, huh?
See, and I think part of steeping may involve air. I actually "air out" my steeping DIY bottles about once a day for a week.
I don't leave them open - I just squeeze them a few times to get fresh air in the bottle. And then they get a shake.

(Although I can't do that with my "main flavor" as I'm now going to be mixing that in a giant glass bottle - but that's going to get a longer steep...)
The airtight box is for juice that's ready to vape, I shoot most of my mixes into 50ml glass bottles ( 30-40ml of juice), and steep in a closet shelf. The only one that I have needed to steep "open top" is TPA DK TAB, this one I had given up on until I came across a post where apple cider vinegar and open air breathing for 24hrs tamed the beast. Without this treatment , for me, the perfumey/citrus notes just overpowered and ruined it.

So is this pink one.

PINK IBRILLIANT

You have got to be kidding. Nope, it says $400. I could be rich if I were dishonest and had no soul. How can people do that. And to newbies.

The older I get the less I understand this world. I am afraid for what it will be like by the time my baby grandson grows up.

When tweeking I like to play with about a 5ml sample and take notes on everything I do. My notes are what I will go by in the future. Recommendations on flavor levels that I find are just that, recommendations. In the end, it really isn't that much different than cooking, or mixing cocktails. Slight variances for personal preference. Getting a feel for how to ballpark where to start was the biggest learning curve for me, and I am still in that curve. Math is your friend when working up volumes and blending down nic to desired levels. I like to make tiny ( 5ml) batches of every flavor by itself and take notes on what I perceive. It all can be very time consuming...

I need (want??) one last KFL. I have 3 already. Two are KFL Lite + V2 (second run)silver in color and one is the Hcigar KFL clone which is black in color. I'm looking at the two listed but cannot decide which to order or to even consider something else. The ehpro is out of stock so that may become a factor. I could use some suggestions on which to get. :)

Ok. So it being a slow process is a normal thing then. That is good to know. I thought I might be inept at this. I think down the road I will be pretty good at it. The learning curve for amounts of flavors and percentage of each is steep. Too much of one and it steps on and drowns out the other flavors. Sigh.... Lots more playing. I wish I liked simple flavors but they are flat for me.

Black Edition Kayfun V3 - Custom Mod Creation

Both are great atties, although I have heard that the latest ehpro has a tighter draw.

Other things to consider:

The black edition has a adjustable 510. Very handy if you're OCD and need things to sit flush or have mods with deep 510.

ETA: the adjustable 510 is handy, but bear in mind that it represents an additional point of possible failure

For a couple bucks more, the black edition comes with a m tank. I personally use m tanks with all my kfl. So that's good value.

I would go with the BE.

You can also do a heat steep to speed things up. 150 deg. for about three hours. I use a thermos for this , but only for flavors I want right now, and will use up relatively quickly. Yes, I thought I would be like all gangbusters with this DIY stuff. quickly learned that the snail wins the race many a time ;) Just have fun, and enjoy the journey :)

I use that too.
And it's just a matter of "evolution" for me...
I made a blend, I liked it, I decided next batch to up the "creme" percentage...etc.

I HAVE done what you're describing - altering a mix by adding a couple drops of something - but then, yes - replicating that in the recipe is going to be some tricky math or a guesstimate. I just vape what I made, then try to make it better next time.

So my ejuicemeup list of recipes has things like v6 and v7 of the same basic recipe, as it got fiddled with. So I can "go back" if it got worse, but that hasn't happened. Maybe because I got something good pretty quick, and don't experiment THAT much.
I WOULD but I don't need that much juice (or a wide variety to be happy).

The Black Edition is the one I have been looking at. Question. What does the following mean? I have read it a bunch of times and it is not clear to me.

•IMPROVED METAL BOTTOM AIR FLOW CONTROL SYSTEM!

LIFT UP AIR CHANNEL SCREW TO AVOID LEAKING FROM CHAMBER!

Oh that. Hahahahahahahahaahha I find that it's mostly marketing jazz.

But specifically, for many clones as well as the authentic ones, the centre post hole (which feeds air to the coil) sits flush with the top of the positive block.

For the BE, the centre post is a little longer, such that it protrudes up by approx 1mm. The claim is that this protrusion reduces gurgling from flooding. But. Yeah lol it doesn't really have THAAAT much of an effect

I've wondered the same exact thing. I'm used to the "tricky" bottom fill now and can fill the KFL now just as quickly as refilling a protank. God forbid they should show a picture of the "lift up air channel" (sarcasm)

But the Price???

That was the point. This is another kiosk company. Did you see their other prices? $29.99 seems to be their favorite; for $29.99 you can get 15ml of juice or an EVOD or a USB charger.

ETA: Oops! I was wrong about that. The EVODs are $24.99; however, the USB and the wall adaptor are still $29.99 each.
