How many of you vape at ~3 volts? I've been looking for a mod mech or box I don't really care, that lets me vape at 3.2. My current ego style battery has 3.2, 3.7 and 4.2 voltage settings and I have yet to find a juice that I will vape on anything other than 3.2
So far the few mods that I've looked at all start at 4. I wouldn't be surprised that I would enjoy 2.9 even more than 3.2
I've given up smoking so for me it's all about the flavor. I don't care about throat hit or clouds. Flavor is where it's at!
So who vapes at low voltage and why?
I find it's just an added bonus that I get more tugs off a battery.

The ProVari goes down to 2.9v, but it won't fire a coil below 0.9 due to the amp limit.

Huh? I thought you were asking about a mech box mod, no?

A mech has no variable voltage, unless you add a kick.

If you're looking for just a regulated box mod then yeah you CAN go down to 3V. Like the sx350 or the new DNA20 that Innokin is selling.

ETA: oh you said you were looking for a mech mod or a box mod. In any case, a provari goes down to 2.9V. So there's that

i haz a beated, but i dint unnerstanded the question anyway.

Cylinder mods = tube mods
Squarish mods = box mods

Mechanical mods = mods with NO chips whatsoever in it. Runs exclusively off the voltage of the battery, and you can't change the voltage/wattage. Has no protection whatsoever, but also no limits (resistance, length of time you fire it)

Regulated mods: mods with regulation chips in it to control either voltage or wattage. Comes with various protection such as reverse battery protection, short circuit protection etc. While it is a lot safer, it also has restrictions such as how low resistance you can go, or how long you can fire it.

You can have various permutations of mods.

RegulAted box mods, such as the vaporrshark, the atlas, hana mods, MVP v2

Mechanical box mods, such as the REO, dibby box mods

Mechanical tube mods: most mechs, such as the nemesis, stingray, glas, akuma etc

Regulated tube mods: provari, futura, zmax, vamo etc.

Also, there are box mods that aren't regulated or mechanical: Woodvil, Phidias, Banjo (my little plastic generic thingy).

Those pups are born to dig. You have to put barriers in their enclosures down several feet or they are gone in 60 seconds.

Why again is glass the recommended container? Fluids do expend and contract when frozen, something I wouldn't think glass does well.

A Google search came up with plastic containers designed to be frozen and this: National Center for Home Food Preservation | How Do I? Freeze It suggests using canning jars that are tempered to withstand temperature changes.

I wasn't involved or read the OP, but I have been buying my nic from Nude Nicotine, and it comes in brown plastic bottles.

VG and PG contract when frozen unlike water which expands.

I keep my nic in the freezer and let it get to room temperature, transfer maybe like four ounces at a time to a dark blue glass bottle for when I mix up my juice.

And of course who hasn't dropped a glass bottle? I would cry if I dropped a half liter of nic concentrate in a glass container!

i fink maybe oz haz a mad at me. i dont fink he liked tevacorn.

Not mad, but not amused either. Plus the last few days have been extremely stressful. Add in a tweaked back on top of an already hurting back... I've been a little cranky & not posting as much. Sometimes it's hard to tell if it's me being cranky or if people are actually getting dumber by the minute at a fast enough rate that it's detectable with mediocre lab equipment. I pretty much gave up hope on the General Subforum.

Weird. I have a question for the DIY folks.

If you vape straight pg and VG individually, do they have a distinct smell?

Because I just vaped my VG and PG and they BOTH have an off smell to it that's making all my mixes awful. I have a feeling that that's why I'm hating all my mixes.

ETA: anyone willing to send a tiny sample of pure VG and pure PG to me? I'll pay for postage + whatever else.
