it might be you settings.

There is an app called tapatalk makes using the simple part of ECF easier. Some things you have to use the desktop version for. . But if you are just on the blogs it's a lot easier to set up your avatar just Tao on your name them the pic next to it and it'll let you pick out a pic from your library.
