When coiling my Igo-L I was advised to make sure the coil was directly lined up with the airhole. And I read that how far away from the airhole makes a difference in throat hit/harshness. The closer to the airhole, the more throat hit, if I understood the concept correctly.
I know the Kayfun/Russian have the airhole under the coil. Try raising you coil up higher, farther above the airhole. Let us know if that makes a difference. What specific juice, mg nic, pg/vg are you vaping? What ohms coil and at what volts?
Trying to help you figure out if it is the build or the juice.
see i keeep reading the opposite to have it closer to the air hold!!!!
i'm vaping 1.8 to 2.1 ohms.
around 3.7 to 4.0 volts.
30 gauge wire... it's all i have. and a 5/64 screw driver.
will try again today with a higher distance. i'll try to get some pics too. old build and new build and not the differences!
also i vape between 6 and 12 nic.
i can't go any lower because 6 in a clearo is a waste of juice for me. i don't have that kinda money ya know. its like the tail end of the hit is horrid.
it feels good in the mouth and it feels good inhaling, but towards the end its god awful. that's why i'm thinking coil build.
