When coiling my Igo-L I was advised to make sure the coil was directly lined up with the airhole. And I read that how far away from the airhole makes a difference in throat hit/harshness. The closer to the airhole, the more throat hit, if I understood the concept correctly.

I know the Kayfun/Russian have the airhole under the coil. Try raising you coil up higher, farther above the airhole. Let us know if that makes a difference. What specific juice, mg nic, pg/vg are you vaping? What ohms coil and at what volts?

Trying to help you figure out if it is the build or the juice.

see i keeep reading the opposite to have it closer to the air hold!!!!
i'm vaping 1.8 to 2.1 ohms.
around 3.7 to 4.0 volts.
30 gauge wire... it's all i have. and a 5/64 screw driver.
will try again today with a higher distance. i'll try to get some pics too. old build and new build and not the differences!

also i vape between 6 and 12 nic.
i can't go any lower because 6 in a clearo is a waste of juice for me. i don't have that kinda money ya know. its like the tail end of the hit is horrid.
it feels good in the mouth and it feels good inhaling, but towards the end its god awful. that's why i'm thinking coil build.

Well, if thou haz patience, it's def a route to explore!

I could never understand folks who complain about fasttech taking 3 to 4 weeks to get stuff to them. It's kinda like. We ALL know they are in fact slowtech. We all know that their shipping options consistently face delays. And we all also know we made a decision to take that risk in return for saving some kachinng. Something's gotta give.

Now that said, I've been stalking fasttech and there's been a lot of buzz lately about how stuff are taking a lot faster to arrive. In fact my last order took 13 days. I would say check out the mega fasttech thread at the general e smoking forum

ETA: focalecig has amazing customer service, and is a little bit faster. They don't have quite as large a selection though

ETA: speaking of that subforum. Does ANYONE else hate that name or is it just me....? Using "e-smoking" makes no sense at all :( couldn't we just use "vaping" instead

Hahah; yeah that's where I'm thinking ok- I could not really get much of anything after getting tr provari this month- life on a budget can suck- but I've got the urge to try out A BUNCH of hardware options now, so figure I can either get a couple of things off the bay, b&m, or quite a bit off fastech.
Does the fastech stuff get you quality at that price? Thinking I may get some odds and ends from them instead of hardware: my girl is gonna need coils and clearos and I don't think that's anything that they can really mess up lol
But I was considering trying a genesis style, or their version of the aqua, evenly be a squape- the b&m doesn't like opening boxes for there rbas

And yeah I try to avoid the term "smoking" since I don't e-smoke, I vape. Haven't smoked in almost 2 months

I keep my Protanks as my daily driver because they are just easy. I love the Kayfun when it works and that percentage of "working" is getting closer to 100% but there are sometimes that I just don't feel like messing with anything and I just want to vape. I don't get any battery issues with the Kayfun but I do with the dripper. However, that would be expected; I am vaping at 11 watts as opposed to 7.5-8 with the Protanks.

today myi protank2 decided to not fire on myi provair's ugh

To my understanding, there is some decent buys but you have to know what you are looking for. When it is authentic, it says so on Fasttech but when it isn't, I don't know if it is worth it. The "proverbial they" can mess up cheap clearos and other things too. Nothing worse than having a horribly leaking topper to a sippee straw on top of a battery. 101Vapes has some good deals state side but not as much selection.

today myi protank2 decided to not fire on myi provair's ugh

:(

Have you cleaned the Provari? Backed out the Protank a little bit? I am sure you thought of this, just asking.

Nothing is defected she just decided on a lark after using Blu for 3 months to avoid analogs around me to take my MVP and put down the analogs for good so I have her my MVP and the ego threaded things I had around. We are both so new to this that we haven't had the chance to stockpile anything. Well it was just me for 2 months- first month I was recovering from a huge surgery so I was ordering everything online which made even the local juice more expensive second month I got the provari- and I'm on a fixed income till I can get back to work(soon hopefully since everything is done-had to go back to college, medical foolishness).
Now I know what to get so let the stockpile begin.
All we had between the two of us was the MVP, provari - 2 clearos and 2 aerotanks. But, I did learn to make coils! Yayyyyy!!

That's the big reason I'm thinking of placing a huge fastech order mostly to get her a bunch of tanks And myself a few different types of genesis styles I can go nuts without having to smash my piggy bank.

Thank you drummer I'll take as look at 101. I wanna get her setup on a hassle free deal, taking anything apart will turn her off from this.

Ok what i meant, was WHEN you get something defective take pics, it will happen eventually.

I would do smaller orders $20-$50 its free shipping if its $20 Bigger packages take longer And i have had them send me the wrong item before, now they sent me the correct item on my next purchase free of charge. The only time i do large is when i order multiples of the same item. Like i ordered three russians and the colored tubes in both sizes, one order, but only 5 items.

Haha gotcha- didn't even think of defects lol
Cool though figured definitely wanna stock her up on tanks- this things are ridiculous around here at a b&m- 10 dollars for a basic small I think 1 or 1.5 clearo.
Maybe get myself a genesis to try and some whick and coil material.
Thank you again

Here's how I see fasttech. I cannot afford to buy only authentic for every single thing I wanna try out. Fasttech gives be the opportunity to at least give the general functionality a feel. If I like it, then I'll shell out money for an authentic.

So what that means is that I do think in many cases, it IS worth it for the price, given that I have no expectations for the longevity of the product. And besides, some clones I've gotten have been of really insanely good quality. 21 bucks nemesis. Mine had a 0.2 V voltage drop on a 0.6 ohms coil. That's pretty damn impressive if you ask me.

Btw fasttech is EXCELLENT for buying supplementary hardwares and accessories like m tanks, tweezer sets, battery holders etc

This is just my personal opinion. I have a few clones - mech mods and my Kayfuns. Most of them came from local vape shops and a few online from US vendors. I don't do FastTech or anything else direct from China.

I know that most of this stuff probably came for places like FastTech or AliBaba or whatever. But I kinda feel like my money needs to go to US vendors (or Greece, Germany) but not directly to China.

Another option, since you are verified, maybe put up a wanted of stuff you are interested in. Some of us have piles of stuff we don't use anymore.

I have the same thought as inotfat- I wanna try a clone on something first- before I shell out a hundred bucks on a KFL- I wanna try it- then If I like it get an original. Overall I have a not so easy feeling on clones- it's paying someone for stealing another design. Just my feeling on it(baluster generation)
I'm a verified member allready, but I can post in the want adds I can view everything and respond to the sale adds just can post in wants. Which is fine. If I like the KFL I'll probably spring for an original Russian; I dig the finish on the Russian more. Plus I would rather go through the b&m here for something like that. The new on Lewis awesome and the staff actually cares and helps noobs. They just opened last week and wanna do my part to support them.
they are naming a juice after me. Lol :)
Stand corrected I can post in the want adds now!
Awesome!!! They fixed it!!

Agreed. It's kind of hard for me to say which topper is my "driver for the day". Currently I'm vaping 8 different flavors during the day. 4 Aspire ETS bdc, 2 PT II, 1 cartotank and, believe it or not, 1 iclear 30. I have had the dreaded vapers tongue and don't want to go there again. I drink plenty of water and switch my flavors up regularly.

BTW, how does one get verfied for the classies? I was looking for a thread on it. I think used is the right way to go on my first venture into the RBA realm. Especially after spending close to 1K these past few months getting both my fiance and I set up for vaping...that and the kitchen remodel I know have going on after the fridge/freezer died this past Sunday :/

Not to take anything away from the classies; there are some great deals In there. I cross between looking at those and that bay place online too
You just want to be a little more careful in the bay
