I need a ring for my provari that will work with my kayfun! The provapmone doesnt work for me

You need to get the actual Svoemesto ring. They work exceptionally well, and just look terrific! I'll take a pic here in a sec...

ETA: pic added...

The ProVape ring leaves a bit to be desired. I was totally irritated when I first got mine. I had to adjust every center pin I have to use it. It works good, and looks good with most things (kayfun not included)...and it was only $8. Not a huge investment, so not a lot of complaining :)

Congrats. Bet ya a nickel you'll be packing your ProVari everywhere though...
:D

I started using e-cigarettes exactly 3 weeks ago with Joyetech eRoll. I smoked 1 analog the first day just for the sake of it. Since then I am smoke free!

Although I love my eRoll, I decided why not go for the better and ordered Provari mini starter kit yesterday with pro tank 2. I am really excited! I will use it mostly at home and will carry my eRoll when I go out; at least that is my plan.

Decent topper, but
a) there are occasionally connection problems. If it won't thread all the way down, or won't fire, come let us know - we can fix it!!
b) There ARE better toppers if you decide you want to experiment with a rebuildable, or with a carto-tank. Same thing - come ask for advice and you'll get plenty

By the way, did I do the right thing by buying Protank 2? I have no experience clearomizers/cartomizers. I read a lot before ordering it but still have my doubts...

I was torn on whether to get the mini or the standard. The mini is much smaller then I thought, which I love. Fits in my hand beautifully, but I have such a long commute and those tiny batteries terrify me. The dimples on the mini own me over. I prefer them to the standards design. I've got an extension cap coming, so hopefully I won't be reliant on 18350's for long.

I have 2 minis. I go through too many 18350s in a day with them so I use the 18490s and love them. I got the Tatroe extension ring and have used that and my extended cap to let my mini sport an 18650. It lasts forever but it is too big and long for me to favor it in that mode. My favorite is Mini with extended cap and 18490 battery. It just is the most comfortable for my hand and battery life.

People who knew I was a smoker were dubious, but I've always been highly sensitive to "scent." Perfume, cologne, candles, cleansers, all of it. I had to leave movie theatres so many times... :( I'd be choking and gagging.

It is funny. I never was sensitive to it all when younger. I was a Chanel No.5 and Shalimar girl. Now, when DH sprays his RightGuard Sport deodorant on in the bathroom I am choking up in the bedroom. When he overdoes it on the Downey I am gagging.

I think I traded in my childhood allergy to cats for the sensitivity to fragrances. Weird.

Now that all the important talk is done for the day I will tell you a tale.

Bought a butane torch lighter yesterday for annealing kanthat and swishing coils. Piece of __it. Had to refill it 3 times to build a microcoil. So had to go to Lowes and buy an overkill Burnomatic Micro Torch Kit for $20. Neat. If I ever decide I want to solder anything I got tips for that that go on the butane torch. Size of a large magic marker.

So. From the pictures and help given here by Train2 and Inotfat I was able to successfully loosen and straighten out the positive post block and readjust the 510 center pin so that the r91v1 works on my Provari Mini. Many thank yous to you both.

Coil build went very easy and fast. Coil mount was like spending two hours in Purgatory knowing you are going to hell. No trouble making the coil. I could not get that little guy mounted for the life of me. Destroyed another coil when trying to mount it. Made another. Took another hour to get that one mounted. I am having trouble getting the little legs to go under the screws and stay put while I tighten the screws down. Then, when I am perfecting the coil positioning, one of the legs keeps coming out. Tough workout for me today.

Finally got it mounted. Reads at 1.2ohms. 28ga kanthal, 12 wraps. Think I lost a wrap or so in the struggle in Purgatory. Ohms lowest I have vaped and it is not tasting great. We will see how it goes. I do not have the energy tonight for a round three.

Ladiekali, I think I may have seen you in Purgatory; in passing. Next time I will wave. I am glad you got yours working well for you.

I had to go back & see what was so startling. Is that considered a long nail?

Don't know that's considered looong....but it's certainly lonely. Back in the day, iffn you were so inclined, a sharing person with such a thing was a good friend to have ;)

This is why I ordered more 490's earlier tonight. My most recent ProVari purchase was the standard. In 650 this thing is just way too big.....yea.....I went there! :pervy:

Just an idea maybe for next time you need one or someone else reading this. I use a creme brule torch. I've had mine for years but the sell them at walmart, bed bath and beyond really anyplace that sells cookware. No filling it uses a small disposable butane tank similar to what is on camping stoves only smaller. Makes life easier plus next time you wanna make a custard turn it into creme brule...lol

Now you have a torch for Cream Brulee. I like it when it's freshly torched.

You have more patience than me. I gave up on mine after one build. I'm back to my beloved Sophias.
