Guess who forgot to swap out his ProVari battery for one that he apparently forgot to charge? The same person who forgot to grab a spare on his way out the door. Oh, and guess who is now 70 miles from home? The same guy who is tied up here for a few more hours, and no vape shop in between.

If people around me wonder why I'm a grumpy SOB today...no you know why!

Anyways, good morning y'all!

Wow...not a good morning for you to say the least and you have every right to be a SOB..heehehehehee

Does anyone know a good ring to use on a SnP tank with Sophia so i can get a flush look and still some airflow? I think the SnP has a ProRing but not sure if it has decent airflow or not. I cant stand pushing up the SnP tank to get the Sophia to work and it looks stupid.

Damn bro, sorry to hear. Wishing amazon had those delivery drones ready to roll at a moment like that.

Not sure if there are other ways of doing it, but here's how I did mine

Pros: significantly warmer vape (might be a con for some), good density of vapor, good flavor

cons: took me bloody forever to get the 2 mounted right. It was a nightmare to build. The kayfun doesn't have a deck that's conducive for double coils.

Are you talking about the 22mm SnP? I have problems with a ring using that one and do have to push it up just a bit. I have thought about the new Provape ring for that one. No problem with the 23mm, as it fixed the problem with the bottom cap.

I wouldn't say it's "that good" - it's like indestructible silica.
If you love cotton flavor and wicking and hated silica, it probably won't dazzle you.
But for me - if I get something wicked with it and working well - it's as close as you can come to having a permanent coil.

Is rediwick that good? Going to look that up.

Agree--I got some and really like it for the longevity. The taste is on par with silica, which isn't awful, but to me cotton gives me more flavor.

Now that all the important talk is done for the day I will tell you a tale.

Bought a butane torch lighter yesterday for annealing kanthat and swishing coils. Piece of __it. Had to refill it 3 times to build a microcoil. So had to go to Lowes and buy an overkill Burnomatic Micro Torch Kit for $20. Neat. If I ever decide I want to solder anything I got tips for that that go on the butane torch. Size of a large magic marker.

So. From the pictures and help given here by Train2 and Inotfat I was able to successfully loosen and straighten out the positive post block and readjust the 510 center pin so that the r91v1 works on my Provari Mini. Many thank yous to you both.

Coil build went very easy and fast. Coil mount was like spending two hours in Purgatory knowing you are going to hell. No trouble making the coil. I could not get that little guy mounted for the life of me. Destroyed another coil when trying to mount it. Made another. Took another hour to get that one mounted. I am having trouble getting the little legs to go under the screws and stay put while I tighten the screws down. Then, when I am perfecting the coil positioning, one of the legs keeps coming out. Tough workout for me today.

Finally got it mounted. Reads at 1.2ohms. 28ga kanthal, 12 wraps. Think I lost a wrap or so in the struggle in Purgatory. Ohms lowest I have vaped and it is not tasting great. We will see how it goes. I do not have the energy tonight for a round three.

Ladiekali, I think I may have seen you in Purgatory; in passing. Next time I will wave. I am glad you got yours working well for you.

yes it was me! i thought i saw a familiar face, it was so dark and hazy. Out of the four i have one needs to be replaced and two are staring at me, and one is a smooth hit. None will fire on my standard provari or my mvp2. wish i was around for the help with the 510pin

Now you have a torch for Cream Brulee. I like it when it's freshly torched.

You have more patience than me. I gave up on mine after one build. I'm back to my beloved Sophias.

you make me want one.

a sophia that is, i just burnt my first carto last night. and dang it was so nasty. trying to vape a 70vg in a carto isn't a real good idea for me. youck

My pretty purple provari has finally arrived!! Right now I'm soaking / drying the tanks that the ebay seller sent with it because genius here didn't realize that ego tanks wouldn't work on it. I was pretty smooth trying to get it to fire up last night since my ego clearos screwed onto it just fine but weren't, you know, actually doing anything. I've got an ego to 510 adapter coming soon. The seller also included a carto tank, but I can't really figure out what brand it is. There's a pic of it on the listing, here: Purple Provari Mini 2 Bundle Protank 3 EXTRAS | eBay Anyone have any idea what it is? Near as I can figure out it is maybe a Cirrus tank????? I will try to figure out how to post a closer-up pic of it. I really want to figure this out so I know what kind of cartos to buy for it and whether the O-rings are replaceable since one of them looked a little hinky. Thanks!!!
