I have been leaving the long rod that I wrapped the coil on when I try to mount it. I need hands something closer to Edward Scissorhands or tweezers as fingers. I have fat big fingers for a woman and I need an extra hand or two and the eyes of a teenager.

I am on my 4th wick on this build. I think I finally got the right amount of cotton and the right length. I opened the airhole control way open and I can now taste some flavor at 3.3 volts. I am getting more vapor. I think I was using too Little cotton before. It seems to be a delicate balance with the cotton wick. Still not great but I can vape it so far. We will see.

I use an Allan wrench the turn it makes is easier for me to line everything up at least on the manger heads

Do they have a size that would fit though the coils I build on the 1.5mm rod? And where would I find this magical stuff?
Rewicking this coil 4 times in 14 hours with cotton balls is not my idea of a good vape setup.

Currently they only carry two sizes, 2mm and 3mm.
On another note -woodville in the classies ....

yes it was me! i thought i saw a familiar face, it was so dark and hazy. Out of the four i have one needs to be replaced and two are staring at me, and one is a smooth hit. None will fire on my standard provari or my mvp2. wish i was around for the help with the 510pin

All you have to do is take a flat head screwdriver and turn the screw that is on the bottom of the Kayfun counterclockwise so that the screw sticks out farther than the housing it sits in. This should lower the connection point enough to make contact with the contact in the provari. If you have a clone that has the adjustable centerpin. If you do not, I can not help; I do not know what to tell you there.

You may have to try this a couple of times to figure out how far out the screw needs to be. You do not have to empty the juice out or anything. Should be a quick thing to try.

We should get together for lunch next we find ourselves in Purgatory together. Don't be shy. Shout out to me.

If it helps, I have found that putting the legs of the coil, in the bit/screwdriver/thingee........so that they sit inside the screws helps too. It is hard to explain in text but when the legs sit outside; it can move about but when they are inside. It gives some resistance on the other end while tightening one screw.

The delicate balance is not flying to Germany to punch the designer in the adam's apple

Hahahahah trust someone to notice that.

I'm pretty OCD about giving my kayfuns a good cleaning ESP when I change juices that taste very different. So I break it down into all the tiniest component. Long story short, I ended up losing 8 positive block insulator and 3 center post insulators down the drainage. Hence the strainer. The toothbrush was for scrubbing the threads of my mech heheh

FDA Regulations are out--just saw it on Fox. Didn't get a good list of all of them, but they did say they could take years to take effect due to lawsuits etc.

The one point I read about this morning that toasts my cookies is that after the 75 day comment period, some regs go into effect. Mfg have up to two years to apply to FDA for approval (think this includes devices, not clearly stated in article) and after that it will be the same process as for tobacco companies getting new products approved.

Also, the liquid makers are going to have to disclose all the ingredients to the FDA, but not to the public. This last one is MAJOR BS. That is the ONE thing we, as vapers, need above all else. So all the secret sauce stuff that can hurt us or addict us will be known to the FDA but not the public. Big tobacco is in on this one. And Pharma. Big brother control and watch the money and lobbying.

This right here is why I got into DIY. I can't fly by the seat of my pants anymore and trust that everything in commercial juice is safe for me. (Recently diagnosed sudden onset insulin dependent diabetic). So if these places are using the "all natural" (read fruit extract, sugar, etc.) Ingredients without me knowing exact ingredients this could be very detrimental to my health. I wonder how these new regs are going to affect that part of the market.
