Use caution leaving batteries in a hot car all day. If at all possible, keep them close to you and in a temperate environment.

I would never keep any of the gold stuff in the car
But an emergency ego/evod setup with a charger in the glove box is a good idea not from a stability standpoint but when ya gotta vape

Man! Last night I watched one of pbursado's video at House of Hybrid. In one segment they demonstrated how ridiculously tough and resilient the new zenkote is.

If provape releases a dark gun metal zenkote provari, I'll be all over it. They literally had to use a grinder to mess up the finish :O

Issue - Being in construction, all types of construction, a lot of times, my truck is my office. Can't leave the truck running for the A/C as the boss would freak at the gas bill. Not always a shade tree around either. A couple of my next projects are "outdoor" projects.

Open to suggestions........

Lithos wouldn't help keep you cool but I used to drive for a drink company and I had a ice chest/fridge deal I got from pepboys. It plugs into the cig lighter and it does a really good job at keeping drinks, sandwiches and batteries good and cool.
Or
You can do like the mayor of New York City and put a window unit on the passenger side that can plug into wherever you go so that the vehicle is nice and cool when you get in.

IMR batteries WILL go into a thermal runaway "vent with flame" condition at ~190 deg F.

I know for a fact, interiors of cars can reach and exceed 120 deg F on hot sunny days.

If we assume a 10% margin of variance, due to age or level of charge, that means a cell has a potential for venting at 161 deg F.

That being said, it will be a cold day in hell before I intentionally leave a battery in a hot car.

Also, NEVER EVER EVER EVER CHARGE COLD BATTERIES! Cold being below 40 deg F.

Hmmmmm....Idea. I have a H2O proof battery storage box and a 2 gallon Igloo water jug that I fill every day. Think that will work?

Should work, put batt box in zip lock just in case, also This will help out a lot - portable awning for cars/trucks.
