Okie dokie! How about charged batteries in a iced water cooler??
Brother, I don't know. I wouldn't put my batteries near water based anything unless I was 150% certain there was no potential for the two to come together.
I always live by the rule, that if I can't stand the temperature myself, neither can my batteries.

Ok. 75% waterproof case. 50% for baggie #1 and 25% for ziplock baggie #1 inside ziplock baggie #2. How'd I do??![]()
IMR batteries WILL go into a thermal runaway "vent with flame" condition at ~190 deg F.
I know for a fact, interiors of cars can reach and exceed 120 deg F on hot sunny days.
If we assume a 10% margin of variance, due to age or level of charge, that means a cell has a potential for venting at 161 deg F.
That being said, it will be a cold day in hell before I intentionally leave a battery in a hot car.
Also, NEVER EVER EVER EVER CHARGE COLD BATTERIES! Cold being below 40 deg F.
i'd put my stuff in a pelican case, then put that in a cooler, that's...well...cool. With ice and my lunch.

That'll do
I think Train2 has the best solution though!

I've done it - back when I vaped EGO's.
This is a little 6x4 box I happened to have - and it happened to be a great fit.

That's a blackberry and a backup vapes (ego, miniprotank, evod), tossed it in a cooler with ice and snax, and it sat outside for like 10 hours on a 100 degree day.
I use those on the boat for my wallet, smokes, keys and phone - now my PV too I guess
Totally kept everything high and dry even in 8 ft seas during a storm!
