It's a PV, It's a working ballpoint pen, It's got a pocket clip, It's a PVEN ???

I started out with a defunct laser pen, goodbye laser, hello 510 batty connector. The tricky part was finding a pen mechanism that would actually fit and still allow a battery.

The answer was a twist-barrel pen guts (a Papermate I believe) .. and a rubber barrel tube. The pen mechanism leaves just enough room for a single 10440 batt.

I wonder if the "PVapermate PVen" name is already in use

I know it's just another dumb Alan mod, but it's one of those challenges I couldn't resist! I think that a clearomizer may not be appropriate, when clipped in your pocket people tend to stare at the juice cause it sticks out of your shirt pocket.

My wife says it's cool but it's awfully long, but it works so that's the bottom line.

Bob's your uncle!

Cool, huh?

looks alot better than the other attempt i seen. does the pen actually slide inside of the body? good job, i like the dumb Alan mods. the dumb ones are usually the best.

Still working on getting the pen to retract, I will need to somehow anchor it into the barrel so I can twist to retract. In the mean time, it is always out.

you could create a different clip, more like the deep-carry pocket-clips used for flashlights, but of course it's fine as it is.

It's no vaping monster or anything .. it's powered by a little 3.7v mod, it uses a 10440 battery with a 2.4 ohm carto .. only about 5.7 watts .. I prefer 7-8 watts for serious vaping, but it does work ok, about like my Janty Stick. I would say it's more of a conversation piece.

It's basically a laser mod (there's a lot of them on the forums) with a ballpoint. The whole concept was to start with a 2-AAA laser pen, mod, install one 10440 batt and use the room for the second cell to accommodate the pen mechanism. I used the original laser push-button, so I am not sure how long the switch will hold up. It's still kinda cool, I think :)

Edit: the batt goes in neg side first. Since the pen was not a good conductor, the batt is followed with a small ball of alum foil to provide ground, then the pen goes down the barrel to complete assembly. The pen fit tightly enough that it actually acts as the batt cap. This is a positive ground device.
