Ok, so here is my input on the matter. I'm going to wheel and deal with TGP to get some sent out to me. Should be enough product for around 150 15mm pieces. I'm assuming, so far, that this is the best workable size of tube right now. If anyone has placed an order with TGP, then cancel it, and I will send out samples for testing to those who are interested. How does that sound? If this works for most, then I will fill in the details when everything is said and done.

What kind of time frame are we talking about?

I ordered from TGP Wednesday.

15mm would be a workable size, if you are planning on running it above the top plate; 40mm would be optimal to those that want to run it into the tank. I would like to see 40mm, but I'm not picky... I would very much be interested.

Edit: BTW, what size were you considering - the 2x3 seems to be the thinner walled stuff.

I've been following this thread for a while and although I haven't had any input I would like to get involved with testing. Count me in if going with the coop route.

This would be for experimental purposes only. After that, you all are on your own for anything further down the road. I appreciate what the co-op leaders do for the community, but I just don't have the time available. I am willing to do this so further testing can be done before a final verdict can be placed on whether this tube will work or not. This would be the fused quartz 2mm x 3mm.

Might be an alternative for a co-op, as minimum orders are $50.00. A little pricier than TGP.

I would be interested. I also wouldn't mind seeing a co-op for 1 foot lengths if anybody were interested in running one. I would consider doing so myself, but I just won't have the time right now

Well TBinAZ, I'd love to be a part of your testing whatever size you get. And after thinking about it, 15mm is probly a great size, minimal amount sticking in the tank.

In negotiations with TGP, so I will let you all know how things go. This is some keen stuff thanks to Dan. Hope I can provide some help with this endeavor.

I have no problem with building coils on Genies but this is just too cool of a game changer if it works. Ya know?

Trying to get some more info as to a MOQ for a coop. 1' pieces are $1.42 and maybe 100 will make it worth his while instead of fulfilling the 32 small orders he's recieved so far for this stuff! Too funny! I'll keep ya posted, but TB, keep me in mind if yours works out b4 mine or if mine doesn't, and i'll do the same for you!

I'd be in for a 15mm piece or 2, throwing you a buck or two for this would be a lot better than blowing $25 on 4 foot. I mean seriously, what am I going to do with 4 feet?

I would much rather have 1 foot than 15 mm. If it works then I'll have enough to do all of my genisis's. If it doesn't then i'm out 1.42 plus shipping. A no brainer.

However, If Jack never anticipated having to ship out singles, then maybe he should institute a minimum order ammount.
