The video is done by Nicotime. I searched and could not find any other info on this. WillyB didnt really provide a lot of info.
It looks like he has something in the tube, but I cant really tell what it is.
That is indeed from the wizard stick days, and Nicotime (who is quite busy lately) just popped in on a thread a few days ago to clarify: #325 mesh.
From the video, it looks like juice is bottom fed up to the coil portion, and the mesh acts as a filter to let vapor out and keep splatter from escaping. I got some quartz tubing from emonty (Big Thanks!) but have not gotten much success over the course of 3 evenings. At best I can get it close to half or 3/4 the production of a traditional genisis setup, but there are issues with heat being wasted and juice splattering. Nothing yet that I can consider being an everyday setup.

I was thinking about trying something along the same lines except have a tank with a tube down the middle that stopped close to the bottom of the tank and some kind of floating coil/wick that would slide up and down the tube as the juice level changed. But it would be complicated and I thought there would likely be build up in the tube and wouldn't work consistently.
I still like the thought of using a micro pizo pump, but I couldn't find one to actually buy.
The mesh is inside, but just at the top of the tube. The coil is outside and below the positioning of the wick.
Asdaq, I could not find the post you mentioned. His last post seems to be back in August. In his video, it looks like the positive pressure he is creating in the bottle is greater than the vapor pressure generated by the coil. So he is feeding his vaporization surface with ejuice and forcing vapor out of the tube? Looks like he is balancing his bottle squeeze so not to flood the tube? Hard to tell for me.
Yea, I am only getting about the same amount of vapor as you (good quality through)....very frustrating..I was thinking about putting together a "double barrel".
You had a lot of posts in the threads that I reviewed. Did this go any further? (I read through the Wizard stick thread, but there are a lot of other threads that touch on this too.) Sometimes its like looking for needle in a haystack when searching for info on ecf....

Something like Scubabatdan's APAM may be able to be modded for some wick assisting also.
Anything like a pump/vacuum/etc would need to be tuned....but I feel like thats what I'm doing with different wick materials and glass tubes, and etc.

Yeah it's horizontal. I've actually got an Ody v2 in the mail (PLEASE BE HERE TODAY!) and was thinking it might be perfect. I will need to measure or find out how big the ceramic holes are where the wick sits... if I could find a piece of pyrex that fit in there perfectly and used whatever type of wick I think it could work pretty good.

I don't want to seem disrespectful or anything of the kind but as i am reading this post i just cant help but to think that this Idea is partly the same Idea behind a (Sh-lei) which is a pyrex glass tube with a ball shaped bowl at the end of it with a small (mm.) air inlet hole on the top more commonly use by .... heads. Not trying to burst any ones bubble just thought it would be an image we should stay away from cause the moment any one can label a E-cig as Drug para. Yes i understand that its still up to the individuals to use it correctly but, 100 individuals using it for drugs is 100 images worth 100,000 words.

No tp get off topic but the ecig industry is under a microscope and ANY thing "we" do, can and will be used against us in a court of law and media circus. This should be taken into consideration when posting images and videos. That is all, Please carry on!

ANYTHING can be used for good or evil...a lightbulb can be used to smoke .......( seen it on tv)
A tobacco pipe can be used to smoke weed out of, heck even a toilet paper roll with some foil( again, seen it on tv)
But you don't see them outlawing such things. Why does the above post even need to come up as far as the glass tube / Pyrex could be used for illegal drugs..
It should of been kept to the posters self and no reason to post it in this thread... one would be hard pressed to use this mod to do much else with other than to use it for its intended purpose...which is to vape ecig juice for better flavor..

You would be better off with fused quartz. It won't shatter as easily from what I've read.
