Yup i have been dripping since tea bag cartos and cisco spec attys were all you could get and tobaco juice taste like penut oil , i used yo make dripper attys from smok tech single coil cartos .... lol

And from my experiance i can say this ...

There are a lot of 100% vg juices or close to 100% out there and a lot of mostly pg juice out there to ....

Now i am a dripper ,its all i do, and i use bolth types becuase there are brands and flavors i like bolth ways.

Right now i am useing a smpl mech and little boy rda with a single .5 ohm coil that is my basic vape ... i have been running a single .5-.8 ohm coil since i got my first rda years ago.

Now i have been useing 2 differant brand and type juices back and forth on the same coil after a clean and cotton change... the coil stays the same ... the juices are

MBV GWAR BLOOD BATH witch is 70% or more pg
And
NATUR CREME witch is 100% natural vg except for the flavorings added they have minute amounts of pg

And when i use the gwar juice the coil stays spotlessly clean for 2 days and will slowly get gunked starting day 3 and need a cotton swap on da 4... but even on day 4 the vape is still tollerable and flavor is still there

With natur vg based juice .... the flavor comes through a little less, its more of a smooth flavor than a stand out flavor compared to pg juice but i get gobs of more clouds from it and the taste itself is unreal, the problem is the natural vg base itself i have found gunks up coils in a matter of HOURS !!!

I mean litteraly hours... i build a coil at 5am and by lunch lol its alreadyy starting to gunk and change color! This means the flavor will deminish verry shortly and i need to swap cotton !

Does this happen to anyone else ?
Do you guys find you need to swap the cotton in your wicks litteraly every day or more with an organic/natural vg juice
Do you find that pg based juice keeps your wick clean for days ?

How often do you change wicks when useing vg and how often do you swap wicks with pg ?

You see most of the vg only or vg base juice i use create a small amout of blackish carbon around the coil wire itself in a matter of hours or at least by the end of the day.

Yet the all pg or around 70% pg will not do this ... even after 4 days !!!!! It just slowly changes the color of the wick darker and darker but the coil itself stays clean

Another thing with the pG juice is that I can continue vaping even after the battery dies and drops too low voltage the PG liquid will still continue to vape

When I am using the VG e liquid I constantly need to switch out to a new battery because when the voltage drops the juice will gunk up even faster and vapor production drops rapidly

have you considered the possibility that the issue is not the pg/vg ratio but natural vs. artificial flavors ? Sweeteners for sure and Natural tobacco extracts ( from personal experience ) gunk up your coils really fast. So there is a possibility that natural flavors ( which are derived from plants and fruits for the most part ) would act in the same way as NETs. Just thinking out loud.

Yupp, no doubts that some flavors do gunk up coils really fast.
In other cases from my side sometimes I just had readjust my coils over again if it's gone gunky way faster than usual.
I only use higher VGs on my RDAs & lower on my RBAs. That way gunky coils are lets say very common, a few dry burns & its good again.

On other hand, you might be right tho. VG does gunk coil faster than PG. I don't often have gunky issues on the RBA... :silly:
