Well just got my bottle of NLV Renegade RY4 in the mail. I was surprised by the color, it is a pinkish shade like the Bounty Hunter I have. So far the other RY4's I've gotten have been a brown/tan to almost clear. Kinda surprised, now the big question is do I vape it or let it steep. Don't know if I am patient enough to wait. Ha!

When ever i get a new juice i have to try it out, even if i know it should really be steeped. it would be rude not too!

Unless its a Dekang, pre-made Chinese mix which has likely been sat in the vendors warehouses for a while itself, steeping will always improve a juice thats been freshly batched and even some that taste a little 'off' at first but reveal their true qualities later. 2 weeks should do at a minimum, but some Ive known to develop to their full potential only after months of steeping.

Gmalarkey,

Oh, go ahead and vape away! NLV is cheap; you can always buy more.

Man oh man! I am really liking the Health Cabin Dekang pre-mix RY4 I got yesterday.

Because of this thread, I don't generally vape RY4s purely for pleasure anymore. The "business" of the thread (lists, rankings, reviews, yadayada) has pushed them out of my group of daily vapes. Enough already! But yesterday and today I have found myself reaching again and again for that carto of HC DK RY4, swapping out an already-loaded PV, and vaping away---just because it's so darn tasty! I didn't think anything could knock off StL Gooey Butter Cake, Bounty Hunter, Kentucky Premium, Black & Tan, Managua, Boba's, or any of my ten other current favorite everyday juices, but Health Cabin Dekang RY4 is giving them all a pretty good run for their money.

In fairness, if you're not a fan of the "club" of RY4s that includes Dulcis, Taboo, Bloog/Volt, Elixir, and Riskee, then you should ignore my enthusiasm, because Health Cabin Dekang RY4 is right in the middle of that pack. If you don't like those, you won't like this. On the other hand, if that bunch of RY4s pleases you, then get out your credit card---fast. This batch from Health Cabin is as good as any of those, and ridiculously inexpensive by comparison. Yeah, yeah, it's a two-week wait for the cheap shipping option of China air mail, but---trust me---it's worth the wait.

To illustrate how much I like HC DK RY4 right now (who knows about tomorrow? juice love affairs can be notoriously fickle), I'm actually considering buying another 50ml bottle, which is just plain stupid. I mean, I need larger quantities of RY4s like I need another hole in my head. I'll never get through this bottle, much less a second one. It's just that hunter-gatherer thing kickin' in---shopping as a perverse response to pleasure. You know: if some is good, then more is better. That kind of madness. I'll try to exercise some self-control, but the urge is telling nonetheless.

Meanwhile, two newly-arrived custom-mixed entries---EC Blend Ruyan 4 and Copper Creek Twisted Tobacco (an RY4-variant)---are steeping in my juice cabinet, awaiting proper testing and review next week. And so it goes, as the RY4 list grows ever-longer...

Such peer pressure! Can't....help.....myself....must....vape

Please add your thoughts here when you do. I am curious about how each person likes different aspects of each RY4.

I've tried about 15 RY4s so far. Taboo was not a favorite, so DeKang is probably not for me. I still prefer the Quicknic and Prime Vaping. I guess VR4 is next to try.

Speaking of Quicknic, they are giving away 150ml. Just "Like" them on Facebook. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ial-quick-nic-juice-thred-15.html#post3906904

Nearing the end of the week (here in the uk anyway!) and so another RY4 landed on my doorstep yesterday.

This time from VapourWorld uk, a vendor that clearly states all their juices are Dekang. I ordered 50mls of RY4 'intense' 70/30 24mg. There was little to no indication of what exactly was 'intensified' in this brand of RY4 but I assumed it was probably the caramel as that does often tend to be the predominate flavour of a lot of RY4's.

Upon filing a 5ml array tank mod with around 3mls I was in for the long haul with my new juice. The aroma was surprisingly one of heavy, strong tobacco. Barely any sweetness that I could detect. The liquid was purely golden honey like and rather thick in consistency.

First vape, it's strong stuff this. I normally vape around 18mg, but have tried 24mg stuff before. The tobacco is the 'intense' element of this RY4 beyond any doubt. It's dark and very strong, almost cigar like. Then the lovely balanced sourness I often associate with Janty came through, again this is far more pronounced here and likely part of the tobacco flavourings. The caramel's a soft sweetness left on the Tongue, it calms some of the harshness of the tobacco and balances this juice from being totally lost to tobacco. It needs much further testing though and some steeping, there's some chemical taste to this, often something you'll get from a fresh juice.

Throat hit on this RY4 is very strong indeed, much stronger then any RY4 I've previously vaped. The balance and hint this could develop into a full bodied 'intense' Janty style RY4 is one I relish however, so this is more a preview, i will of course return to to this in a few weeks.

Already after just one evening, the remaining juice still in my array tank on my E-power tastes a little less harsh and is settling already. After 2 weeks I'll know the true qualities of this one I think.

I'll gladly post my thoughts on it in abbot a week, it'll give me a good chance to get a good opinion and see if it changes any as the juice steeps

hangdude,

Yeah, if you didn't like Taboo much, then you can take that entire bunch---Dulcis, Bloog/Volt, Elixir, Riskee, and Dekang---and put them on your fugedaboudit (do not buy) list.

PV4 remains the "cleanest," most balanced RY4 I've tried, whereas VR4 is far and away the most distinctive.

This is OT but I feel compelled to share this info with my kin here. Living in Phoenix, I was lucky enough to test a new juice product that will change the way I vape and many others too. It's Whole Tobacco Alkaloid juice that will start being in the market next month. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...eliquid-will-soon-available-aroma-ejuice.html

Here's my report on it...
"All I can say is... WOW! The flavor is very subtle and not much to talk about, I may land up mixing it with other juice and I think many will do that. Firstly, the mouth taste is mild at first, but the throat sensation is amazing. We call it throat hit, but regular juice is mostly throat kick, hitting the throat with a burn that can get too much after a while and some peeps don't like it all. Some juices have something like pepper in it too kick more.

WTA gives a fuller throat sensation, activating sensors in a different part of the throat and very much like dragging on a cig. This doesn't replace that sensation, it mimics it. Then you get that light-headed feeling, like when you haven't had a smoke for a while, or hit your first morning smoke. It's quite powerful. The most amazing thing is; with regular vaping you never really get satisfied, even if you overnic, you just get sweaty and a little piqued, but not satisfied. After my first 5 hits I had to put the stuff down, I was good. In fact I went and got some pizza that was being served and ate before I vaped again. You actually get the cig-full feeling. Then the other thing about it is when you do put it down, you feel calmer, very much like a cig calms you down. Could actually vape it before sleeping, in fact one of the group who's been trying out for longer says it actually helps her to go to sleep.

No question this can revolutionize vaping. Not sure if I'd like to vape it straight a few times a day in between regular vaping, mix it a little with a regular juice when I do that, or just add a little bit to all my juice. Will have to feel my way with that.

The downside is..it's VERY pricey to make. Don't know how the price will be if it takes off, because to make large quantities will take a lot of up front cost for major equipment, but the supplies used in the extraction process are mucho expensive.I do think a ml a day will be enough for the average vapor to get the satisfaction but someone looking to get the exact experience of a 2 pak a day habit will be paying a lot for that.

If I had this stuff when I first started vaping...two things. First it would have made giving up smoking even easier. Second, I could well have developed a totally different style of vaping, not getting so into the flavors and vaping constantly, but just settling on one good tobacco flavor, mixing in the WTA and vaping as many times a day as I used to smoke. Have to see which way I go now, but to some it up, the stuff is AMAZING!”

WOW, that is the single most expensive juice that I've ever heard about. And I buy premium juices sometimes that cost 25 for 30ml but 28 buck for a 10ml! Not thanks, I don't care if it gives me wings after I vape it. WAY to expensive for my blood.

Well this thread just helped me out. I was lucky enough to win a Smokeless Image contest. Funny thing is it's my second time from them. First time I got the basic kit and gave it away to a newbie. Thought I'd just get another one and do the same, except Imagine offered juice instead if I preferred. How about RY4 hey :toast:

All right, this has to stop!!! And I mean right now! This virtual eruption of wonderful, terrific, amazing, and oh-so-delicious juices from very new, relatively new, and sometimes just new-to-me vendors has finally gotten completely out of hand. My head is swimming, and the amount of money I've spent on vaping stuff is reaching stratospheric levels.

On the cut-down oak dinner table where my iMac sits in front of the old, beat-up leather couch where I work all day (my last "real" job was 38 years ago as a continental waiter for one summer; since then, I've been self-employed and always worked at home), I now have 15---count 'em---15 PVs/mods (out of 33 total---the rest being on the nightstand next to my bed, in the car, or in storage), each one carto loaded with a different juice from my herd of daily faves. 20 other cartos sit in two wire mesh containers waiting for their turn. All the cartos have Brother P-touch labels. Each carto has a corresponding individually labeled 4.5ml dropper bottle for topping up its carto. Next to them is another wire mesh container holding 25 cartos and individual dropper bottles for all the RY4s I comparison-vape every other day.

Life used to be so simple last year---two or three PVs loaded with my few favorite juices surrounded by a bunch of almost-acceptable-but-not-really-wonderful other liquids. Not any more.

Now I vape one primo fave juice for anywhere from a couple tokes to a couple minutes, then I put it down and am faced with a virtual mob of other equally fabulous juices shouting for my attention, like a cafeteria with a huge selection where every dish is good. What to vape next? And this goes on all day long, courtesy of my having gone bonkers---round the bend and over the edge---aided and abetted by the ever-increasing numbers of talented juice makers/vendors.

Nite Lite Bounty Hunter, Capparillo, and Vanilla Strait; Vapealicious StL Gooey Batter Cake and AG's Dream; Vermillion River Kentucky Premium and Kentucky Vanilla; Copper Creek House Blend; Prime Vaping Nostalgia, Natural Tobacco, Last Tango, and Strawberry or Strawberry Cheesecake; Clouds of Vapor Black and Tan, want2vape Managua, Tabak Especial, and Crème Brulée; Backwoods Brew Casablanca, Malty Toffee, and Café Mocha; Alien Visions Boba's Bounty, Vapor Station Frisco and Tennessee, Vaperite Organic Honey Tobacco and Rou's Toasted Hazelnut; Kick Bass Special K and OMG; and on and on. Plus, I'm not even mentioning all the 2nd tier juices from these and other vendors that are darn good, if a little short of great (to my palate).

On top of that are all the RY4s, and on top of that are the other 10 new juices---all highly praised in this forum---that I've already ordered but which haven't arrived yet. Good Grief! Is this the motherlode of pleasure? the cornucopia of all delights? an embarrassment of riches? or just plain nuts? I mean, who keeps 75 little dropper bottles of juice on his desk with another 450 bigger bottles stored in cabinets? Well, I do. And I'd be willing to bet that there are other ECF members who beat that by a mile.

Actually, it doesn't matter one whit whether you have my excessive inventory or just a single eGo battery with a couple of juices. If it makes you happy, then Vape On!
