batteries like the VTC5D, VTC6A, 24S, 25S, their rewraps, and several others, would be in a “Best Performing batteries” table but that would be a table filled with hard to find (worldwide) batteries. It would also be a large table that would be very confusing to new vapers and would result in a flood of questions asking which was the “best” battery.

Many of the favorite batteries for our community are not in the tables. This was not done to put down those batteries or those who use them. There are good reasons why some are not on the table. The VTC4 is a good battery, much loved by this community. But the VTC5A that’s in the tables hits harder, runs cooler, and runs for longer. To keep the tables smaller I have chosen the better performer of the two, the VTC5A. The VTC4 is still a good battery though!

Another example is the 30Q. It is a great battery but is not in the mech mod version of the table. While it is a fantastic choice for a regulated mod it does not hit very hard and is outperformed by a large number of other batteries when used in a mech.

So while the tables do have great performing batteries in them that is not their primary purpose. They are just a way to help narrow down the huge, often very confusing, number of choices we have when choosing a battery. Many others are also a great choice.
