You guys are soooo bad!

I understand though. :)

Just an afternoon run through to see what's going on.
About time to go do afternoon thing so have a good day.

That reminds me of when my youngest daughter would have would-be boyfriends come over....I had a typed list of questions for them,

such as his parents full names, bro and sis's full names, his drivers license , birth certificate, any recent arrests, etc.

My daughter failed to see the humor... oh and my gun was casually laying on a side table...

Jamie, went and got some peanut butter and parchment paper yesterday so will be making those COOKIES soon. :)
Make a little indentation, with the back of your spoon, on top of the cookie dough when you are about to bake them and add a little jelly/jam/preserves. Just finished a batch with half blackberry jam and half orange marmalade.

Alert! alert!!!

We are blessed with a lot of new Reo-ites, but all we have is their avvies and forum names.....

we'd sure like a pic to put with the person....unless you're in Witness Protection or on the Most Wanted List, then of course never mind...

Go to The Real Us thread, it's right there...

Also...I'm curious...I'm seeing folks talking about building coils all the time on their RBAs. I'm wondering...are you really replacing the coil every time you replace your wick? I've seen complaints about fiddling and having to keep building new coil & wicks...but seriously...I've not changed my coil since I put it on my chalice. Not once. I've changed the wick once or twice, but not the coil. So is this just experimenting that is going on...or are you really unhappy with your coils and needing to build a new one all the time?
I've dry burned a couple of times and decided (for me) just building a new coil is easier. The dried up flakes of gunk wear on my nerves. I guess I could just wash the RBA after a dry burn, but haven't. I will just re-wick if the coil isn't completely gunky.

Are you guys washing your RBA's?

I do...every now and then...but dry burn 4 out of 5 times.

After you dry burn do you rinse them off, or painstakingly wipe off the gunk flakes?

Most times I use the end of a paper clip to knock off any carbon, then swab the bowl with a q tip to pick up any flakes. If rinsing, I rinse before and after a dry burn...but that's not something I do very often.

if it's under a week old yeah it gets a hot tap - otherwise no - i'm with you. Faster to make a new one. i use cotton. 32g Kanthal and now and then - SS. Cleaning them and picking about is more than i can tolerate!

I just recoil mine. It is easier on my little A7 RDA to just do a new coil real quick than to 1) dry burn 2) rinse 3) thread a itty bitty thing through another itty bitty thing. I already have coil making down from my RBA's, and with the natural fiber I am using for wick on the A7 there is no chance of shorts since I am not reusing mesh. It's just quicker for me to coil; I don't have to get up to make a new one where if I have to rewick I have to rinse. I don't like walking if I can help it so that might play into as well

Does everyone see the problem with these two pics ????

Ya, seven REO Mods and only two RBAs :(

But the new white VVG and Black wrinkle 2.1 are looking good.

I don't know how to do this tactfully, so I'm just going to say it.

Pliers + RBA = NO NO!!!
I just read a post elsewhere (not going to link it because I'm not trying to make fun of the guy who did it) where a dude installed his RBA on his vaping device (not a Reo) using pliers. For you lurkers out there who don't already know....no RBA, RDA, Atty, or Carto should never be tightened using a tool ON ANY DEVICE...they only need to be snug (using your fingers) so they don't fall off. That is all.

I laugh when I see people using pliers.....everyone knows a 2' pipe wrench will work just as well! Amateurs!!

Oh I got my Black Wrinkle/Silvervein VVG. What a beauty. I'm trying to get a Goldvein door for my other BW VVG. Stylin! Plus two hornets on the way from Pietro and I'm good to go. All I need is some DIY menthol!
