Yep...I've been given standing permission to vape in the Association office, a car dealership, a couple of restaurants, and a couple other places. Of course it's allowed at the office....we work from home :p

So I am trying to get DH to take me on a quick cruise. I found a cheapo Carnival cruise (their problems make prices low) for 4 days at $239 each. Only problem is it goes to Ensenada, and he is terrified of Mexico. Heck, I used to drive to Ensenada just for a lobster meal. Anyway, I put on a TV show on expats living in Mexico. Then I brought it up the next night, telling him I found a cheap cruise to Catalina. So, I put the thought in his mind, and he asked about it a few days later; he called from work and said he had a few days of "use it or lose it" next month and was wondering about the cruise I was talking about to Catalina. So I then told him about the price being ONLY about $60 per night and the OTHER port, Ensenada

Now it is at the "I'll think about it" stage. It's 2 weeks from now, so I will still be sore but I think I can do it if I just pace myself. Maybe I am jumping into it too quickly, but he has days to use and I have been cooped up so long a boat might be nice for a change. I don't plan on rip-lining, horses or jeep tours. I want to do the wine tour in Ensenada, so even that won't be strenuous. I don't really want to do the touristy shopping thing, but thought after the wine tour we could go to Hussongs or Papas for some margaritas and I want some of that great REAL mexican seafood, fresh from the ocean and cooked on the spot.

Anyway I was just checking and there are a few spots still left. I was almost shocked when he asked me about it a few days later. I am just waiting for him to ask me again, it might get sold out at the last minute pricing. It's only 4 nights, 3 days! Crossing my fingers he gets over his drug cartel fear. I have been telling him for years it isn't a border town so it is much safer, trying to get him to drive down there but he never went for it. Maybe my subtle introduction of Catalina, and the show about Americans living there on top of the "use it or lose it" with the cheapo price will do it

My last coil lasted me 2+ weeks I tried to do a dry burn and fried it. Other than that every week or so I change wick and leave it if I'm happy with it.

And Norman as far as dogs go I have a perfect set up. Lab wolf goes direct to kill mode and rotti hangs back and waits in case of the off chance he's losing or if theirs too many for him she is back up.

I dont know, IMHO theres nothing more ferocious, nothing more terrifying than a highly trained ATTACK CAT! (see picture)

This will be the 2nd time we had to postpone our Alaska cruise.:glare: Last year due to DW medical problem and this time mine. If we can't get our deposit back maybe you and yours can have it. 7 days with a oceanview cabin. Half of it is already paid for so we are trying to get back the money...I'll stay in touch.

I laugh when I see people using pliers.....everyone knows a 2' pipe wrench will work just as well! Amateurs!!

Oh I got my Black Wrinkle/Silvervein VVG. What a beauty. I'm trying to get a Goldvein door for my other BW VVG. Stylin! Plus two hornets on the way from Pietro and I'm good to go. All I need is some DIY menthol!

I personally think that padded vice-grips are the way to go, Ed. You won't scratch the finish on the atty but you can really snug those babies right up.

I sure hope it works out for you! I checked out Alaskan cruises after the first surgery, then the 2nd, to see if they were handicapped friendly, and wasn't sure my leg would take the cold. Now after 4 surgeries on it, I know the cold will hurt but have come to the realization that I better just get used to it. To tell you the truth, I figured this cheapo quickie cruise would let me know if I could tolerate cruising at all, in anticipation of finding a cruise to Alaska.

They have handicapped accessible rooms, so you could rent a scooter (I checked ). I have rented scooters before to go to Laughlin for the River Run and we just trailored the bike. We go every year, but just decided not to go this year since last 2 years I was on the scooter and can wait for next year to see if I am better. It is amazing how at first I was kind of self conscious but then had so much fun I just didn't care. If big bad bikers can be scooter friendly, anyone can right? So a cruise should be a piece of cake. The only thing to watch out for is if the shore excursions can get your chair on them. You should look into it before you write it off. It might not end up being what you originally signed up for, but even in the chair you would be out of the house and still seeing Alaska on a cruise!

Ed, congratulations on the new REO bud. You gotta show us some pics....:rules:

Ray, my agent is trying to get us $2.5k but its got to be approved by her principle broker and loan dept of the bank. I don't really know the technicalities of it so can't explain much.

An Alaskan cruise sounds so great....had an aunt who said it was the best cruise she's been on :)

Jen, thanks for the cookie tip....I'll make it plain first, then if I'm still alive I can make it more fancy :) But when you said chocolate....nom..nom..nom

Sorry if this is being posted in the wrong area but I did put it on the fs/ft area. I have 33 bottles of juice I would like to trade. I am VERY interested in getting a Reo V. V. I would like to trade my juices. 20 of these are sampler sizes others are 30ml, and down. Popular flavors like Unicorn Blood, Gumby Blood, Gorilla Juice etc. Just purchased all these so I have the receipts. Just found I will only be using Bobba's Bounty and Atomic Cinnacide. Went way overboard trying to find my all day vape juice. If interested I have exactly what I have with sizes, nic levels, etc listed in the fs/ft if you want to go look. I have a Hornet and ERA coming and have a Reo Grand and love it. Want to try the Reo VV. Don't know if this is a possiblity but want to give it a try. Like mentioned sorry if I am posting in wrong area. Still getting used to this forum.

Hello ire. (Sorry I had to say that; makes me feel like a pirate!).

No one will take offense to your post here in the lounge. You talked about a trade, not a sale... I saw your post in the classifieds. Been watching them today for some reason thinking a Chalice RBA might pop up. Man, 95% of the mods being offered - I have never heard of. And the prices are so high on these goofy things.

Is there really a juice named "Unicorn Blood"? LOL. I'll have to get some of that just to freak out my friends who think they're running on dreams and starlight.

Keep at it on the juice sale in the classifieds. Juice deals can be harder to sell there. I'm sure some of the reopeople will help keep your offer near the top.

Later, matey...

I have come to the conclusion that i prefer the foibles of my Grand over the VV - i especially like cleaning it under a hot tap and smiling at my wife's futile attempts to clean her eVic! The Grand - any Grand is a decent and reliable all-day- vape, and i ought to know - i have abused mine in many ways and still it goes. Twice i have sent it back for repair - each time promptly and cheaply - the last time because i had no idea how to clean and maintain it (shame!!).

I don't buy juices - i just make my own, so $30 on juice to me means little; unless you got 500ml you were robbed!

Now - what i will buy is a nice Wood Grand. Next one to go up on the classies- give me a nudge - if i can stop HRH spending all my money i might have a few $ ;)

Good morning Michelle!
They should take turns helping you pack!
Always remember, bend at the knees when lifting!

Well time to play catch up. It will at least be relaxing to sit here and read and see what everyone is doing. I should post a pic of my handy work at work. I didn't finish. I ran out of boxes and labels and they locked the door to where they were :( ^^^ lol

Yeah the agent has told us about those options and even offered a upgrade to a deck level but the money is more important. I'd rather give it away than lose the desposit altogether.

For a straight trade you can post here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/311975-reo-swap-thread-iii-please-read-first-post.html Btw good choice in keeping the Bobba's Bounty and Atomic Cinnacide. Bobba's Bounty & Lava Juice is my daily vape. :)

How'd I do? Okay I wish I had took a pic of what was left. It's awful...

Great job cleaning up that classroom I'm afraid to see what it looked like before. I don't think I could do that good a job without breaking any child labor laws.
