Hi dudes and dudettes. I recently switched from IMR 2900's to AW 1600 and right away I'm not happy with the run times. Anyone know offhand what's the highest mah batt that will still allow the spring to function properly? TIA. Ed

Hey Alice. This is off-topic but did you see the big recall for Diamond dog foods? It also includes some of Kirkland foods and is due to the possibility of salmonella. Since you and I were both beating the drum for Kirkland foods recently, I thought you would want to know. If this is old news to you, never mind. I think the announcement came out yesterday. Thanks for posting this Roger. Taste of the Wild and 4Health were both on the list too. I feed 4health, am glad Texas isn't on the list. Still considering changing brands, but it seems like all the brands I can think of have had problems over the last few years.

Lol. I was getting over two days b4, now not quite a full day. Course some of my days are 16+ hours and I'd love not to have to worry about carrying a spare batt or chgr. These have a power falloff around 10 hours for me.

oh i see i change every day no matter what so i was thinking you weren't getting a day i carrey my mini for work and just got in the habit of carrying extra batts with me

Well, Jen--as far as I know, this is a follow-up on a previous issue. No salmonella present so far in the foods they listed in this recall. Just a precautionary measure. I reckon we have to respect them for taking a pro-active attitude.
