Good morning everyone!

Thought for the Day:

It is better to have less thunder in the mouth and more lightning in the hand. - Apache

Good Morning Jamie! At this point I will take all the thunder and lightning I can produce! Too much rest and not enough happening here!

You have a spectacular and wonderful day!

Thank you so much Lisa! It surprised me when he posted in his get well thread last night! But knowing he could get online made me breathe a sigh of relief!

Told you he would not be mad!!!! Glad you got to hear it from him though!

Positive thoughts for his surgery. Many prayers going up for him today!

Ya...me too. It's not the first surgery he's had recently...he had surgery last week too. I am hoping this will be the end of it though, for his sake.

He's the Jedi Master!! He wears a big cape!! He will overcome any and every obstacle that dares get in his way!!!

errr... except for tasty, greasy eggrolls

Hey all,

AW IMR Battery question... (I know this has to have been discussed already so forgive me. :) )

I am about to be vaping on my new REO mini  and wonder what kinds of signs either the mod or the battery will give me when it is too low. I feel relevantly safe with these IMRs but worry about running them down too low. I do not have a volt meter.

Thanks for the help!!! You guys are great!!

and Rob - give it some hell!!

Hi Ryan,
After the first few times...you will notice a drop in performance. That is your que to swap batteries. But it might take a time or two to figure it out. Since you're using a mini...I would suggest that if you've gotten through half the bottle of juice and it's still running, then swap your batteries. Being that these batteries may be new, they will have a shorter vape time for the first 5-7 charge cycles...so don't be surprised if the performance drops before you get through half the bottle.

Get well soon ROB!

After nearly 2 months in the hospital, my Dad died yesterday after being back home for only 2 days. He was 72. Still young in my eyes.

My Dad had a hard life, came to the US from Puerto Rico in the late 40s/early 50s as a young boy of about 10. As a young boy, as a teenager, and as a young man, he faced the discrimination of the period and became a brawler. He even got into a fight with a cop and got locked up for 5 years. He returned home rebellious and angry and started drinking - becoming an angry & violent alcoholic, which he took out on his family.

20 years later or so, he hit the bottom, as most with addictions do, and he found AA. For the past 30 years, he worked on himself, reaching out to all whom he had hurt, making or trying to make amends, and building new relationships wherever possible. He became a meeting leader at AA, and a social worker, specializing in helping those with addictions, and receiving lots of recognition and awards for his work.

The family was split into those who forgave and those who did not. I choose to forgive and I'm glad I did, or I would not have witnessed the the wonderful transformation that he achieved on his life's journey. By the time I got married, I was more than happy to have my Dad walk me down the aisle. My DH, whose own dad passed when he was only 12, said he hadn't called anyone "Dad" since his father passed, but my father became like a "Dad" to him. They got along fabulously and always shared hello and goodbye hugs and kisses on the cheek.

My Dad died of complications of a surgery to remove a blockage from his intestine, which introduced bacteria into his bloodstream, affecting the rest of his body. His blood platelets were so low, he received blood transfusions for almost a month - to no avail. In this weakened state, his already challenged heart, and lungs challenged by the early stages of COPD, (he had smoked most of his life only quitting about 2 years ago but still cheating) couldn't fight anymore. He died at his home with his wife by his side.

He leaves a wife, 4 Daughters, 3 sons, 19 grandchildren, and 12 great grand children.

Sunset: 2012

RIP Dad.

RIP Dad.

You have my condolences on the loss of your Father.

Take time to grieve, take time to heal.

Only time can mend your broken heart.
