Whoo Hooo Pat that sure is pretty! What kinda wood is that? I am still learning all the woods Rob used. My Birdseye Burl is supposed to be here on Monday! Can't wait!

Haven't a clue quite honestly, Cheri. I wish they had a Carfax report I cold pull up for woodvils but I'm sure with the help of reoville, I will be able to identify them in no time. I'm saving it for a new thread with plenty of pictures. The only reason I don't already know all this stuff is because I haven't stopped vaping it long enough to snap pictures and my attention gets sidetracked on other things or people, like charming women from michigan. Or harley riding women from California who play Mafia Wars. Not naming names. I don't snitch.

Here are the latest MRI results of mine as transcribed by my significant other:

Mornin REOville! Glad to see Scott is OK, we didn't have tornadoes this past week, but when the weather gets bad, lightning, heavy rain, strong winds, all 5 of my cats run for cover under the bed, and Chech give me a look like "you won't fit, but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do". Supposed to be less humid and a high of 74 today, so I'm happy about that.
Yesterday in the mail, I received an RM2 from an amazing member of our REO family. I won't say who it was unless they say it is OK, but I am a very happy girl today, and wanted to thank them publicly for their generosity. It was going to be a while before I could get one, I spent more than I had planned on the floors and work around the house, and needed to do some saving before I could splurge, so Thank You my Friend, may the good things you do come back to you tenfold!
Yesterday my ex called and asked if I wanted to have dinner tonight, I said that sounded good, so he said he would pick up some steaks and asked if I had propane for the grill. I said I have, but not sure how much, but I also have an empty that I need to trade for a full tank. He was all "Mr Happy" and said, he would take care of it!!!????!!! Then, last evening, he called again, and said don't worry about a side, he would get a couple of twice baked potatoes to go with. I'm wondering if something is up. Usually he is all very low emotion, pleasant, but not "Mr Happy". I know he has been talking to the VA about some stuff having to do with his service in Viet Nam, and was supposed to get a bunch of tests having to do with Agent Orange. Hoping he got some good news from them.
AND, 3 husbands, I'm always on the right, just sayin:2cool:

Jeni...I don't know if you read one of my posts about my brother fighting the gov'mint for VA benefits cuz of Viet Nam and Agent Orange...but he finally won! Full disability! The paperwork won't call it Agent Orange, but they do call it " chemical" something or other!
I hope he has a lawyer and please tell him not to give up! Oh, and one of the disabilities is Parkinson's Disease. He went from 40% to 100%!!!!

It seems like Mother Nature needs to get together with Father Time for a little hanky panky...might calm her down a bit....

Kay, if I let that happen or give into temptation I may end up with a lot of Mini's and this dude can't afford that or handle the upkeep. I'm not fatherdano or davelog, folks!

He is working with someone at the VFW who was recommended to him by an advocate at VA. He doesn't have any pension since he was always self employed, but gets SS and does some carpentry for cash, so he doesn't have funds for a lawyer that I know of. It's good to hear that your brother was successful in getting compensation. Veterans shouldn't have to hire a lawyer to get the benefits they deserve for their service.

RHP- Looks like a gorgeous purpleheart and bocote to me. Could be wrong about the body, but the door sure looks like bocote.

I only know because Karen has one that I have drooled about for a long time now.

edit to add- Now I'm second guessing myself thinking the door might be zircote. Wait for Karen, Lisa or Alice. I should have kept my mouth shut.

Sure did completely forget my manners today...Good morning, REOvil!

#1 Sure am glad to hear that most of our Okie's have checked in. Glad you and Oskie are okay after such a close call, Scott!

#2 "Veterans shouldn't have to hire a lawyer to get the benefits they deserve for their service." Quoting it just because it deserves to be quoted.

Went on my first flower cutting escapade today... :)

Hi Reo friends! This is what generous Julie n Rob sent me today!!! A gorgeous coffee cup which happen to be my colors, three kinds of cookies..macadamia nut, HUGE chocolate chunk cookies, and the brown ones are SO delicious, but I'm stumped as to what they're called, but I sure want the recipe...and they're square which is so cool!
As if that's not enough, they also made me a picture album of the OK vape meet.....

yes...I AM special!!!!:D

And a beautiful note..(.Julie , you sure know how to do it up special!)

" Hello Ms. Kay

Here is an extra coffee cup for when you lose yours later today, some homemade cookies and brownies( ooops...that's what they're called:facepalm:) to snack on while you warm up your coffee, and!
a copy of the pictures from the Reo Family Reunion to take with you everywhere you go so you will never forget who loves you
all over the US!

Hope you have a wonderful day!

Julie"

( I'm going to do my best to cut the beautiful note down to size to fit into two of the picture slots)and I'm feeling super duper warm fuzzies all thru my heart!

Glad yer okay Scoot, would been a pita if your new shoes got lost J/K :). Twisters, earthquakes and tsunamis when huge, really freak me out big time. Hopefully all the okies are safe :nun::nun::nun:

Since I'm sort of a health nut and pricing in Hawaii was so high where most everything I wanted was literally breaking my bank, I found Vitacost one day and never looked back. Amazing amount of products from most major brands as well as their pretty good in house products at some of the best pricing I've seen. Although Costco's pricing for quinoa is a better buy if its available in your area Karen. For you mainlanders their $4.99 flat rate shipping ($9.99 for me) is a big plus. Once I ordered like 40lbs of stuff and shipping never changed a bit :). If you join ebates.com they usually gift you 5% (6% right now) too so shipping $ is less of an issue.

I encourage all to switch to eating sweet potatoes, its a game changer to eating healthy and helping to keep weight off. If you don't know about how good it is look here WHFoods: Sweet potatoes

Pat, I think you've been glancing over your girlfriend's math books too much. If you are, is she trying to be some sorta rocket scientist?

Poor Oscar, he had a right to be scared. Hell, I would've left town :)

LISA!!!! Did you go see the new Star Trek flick, I totally loved it :w00t:
I did! It was AWESOME! The guy they chose for Kahn was perfect! Oops! Sorry ...SPOILER ALERT!

Brett, good to hear yer safe buddy :)

Jen, you have a touch for photography and making beautiful flower arrangements.....must be a fantastic gardener and maybe even a better fisherman than me ;)

Whenever one of these pops up and I need to restock, it'll save gobs of money BOGO (Buy One Get One) 50% off. This happens only a few times a year and for limited products http://www.vitacost.com/productResu...EM-banner1&_mid=79909&_rid=79909.49604.275377

HAPPY PURPLE SATURDAY REOFAM!!!!

Well, since I can't see the body well, my guess is the same. Bocote door and Purpleheart body. Perhaps Brazilian Cherry/Jatoba, but most likely purpleheart.. :)
