Oh, fun! Who's going with you? I've never been to Florida, but I've read about it in six Carl Hiaasen books :)blink:, if anyone's read any of 'em). When's the trip? Too many questions:laugh:? (...Add me to the list of coffee drinkers you inspired, mousey:facepalm:!)

...eek, posted my interrogation at the same time as she shuns us for her book:p!

But I told the guy w/o DW's approval there is no chance unless its <$100. But some don't listen well :(

Haven't quite left yet. Got sucked into reading another part of the forum.

My DS is going with me. It's the first week in October. Going to Universal, Islands of Adventure, Seaworld and hit up Halloween Horror Nights a couple of times while we're there. Add in some pool lounging with umbrella drinks and it'll be a good time. Love me some roller coasters.

I hope you let him vacuum half your house before you told him to hit the road.

Smart man.
I used a Rainbow when I was a teenager and cleaned houses for a little extra money. Great vacuum, kind of a pain cleaning out the mucky water. Don't know if they still have the water thing or not. Then in my married life the DH fell for a Kirby or Hoover I forget which. That dang thing weighed a ton and we lived in a two story townhouse. Now I have a cheap Bissel from Walmart and it has been just fine for about 5 years.

i'm sure it's an apocryphal story but the joke used to be he empties a bag of dirt on your floor to demonstrate how well the vacuum works and promises to eat it with a spoon if it's not the best clean you ever saw! At that point you inform him that your electricity has been cut off and go to the cutlery drawer!

On that happy thought - goodnight!
