Welcome Jack. I'm Ed. Now that you're here I feel its only fair to warn you that.....

"You're travelling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind; a journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. That's the signpost up ahead - your next stop, the Reo Zone!"

O!O!O! Can I use that for my sig?! Please, please, please?

Since some folks think my present one is a little dirty....:D

:ohmy:were we related in another life? i STILL do that. well, not now, i live in an apartment.

LOL. apartment here now as well. but the temptation...

i should have added that in my younger, younger years, all i wanted to be was a hell-fire-and-brimstone preacher.

depending on one's point of view that desire either ended when i began studying world religion-- or when i discovered SD&RnR :)

:) Nah, Ed...just busy...lost a few days of production due to a bank snafu, had to redesign the project to meet new budget constraints and stay on track. Any other time it would have been fine, but not proofing week. :glare: One of the books is great...the other, well....lets just say it "looks" great...no one will know that it's far from solid. You win some, you lose some. :)

Statements like that make me appreciate my job. The most complicated thing I deal with is whether someone wants their martini with gin or vodka.

Alice...may I ask you a question? Why do you own so many Roombas? I've seen them in stores -- never gave them much attention.

My enviornment outside and inside is extreme. One day, running 5-10, just in main living area, completely fills them with microscopic, cementous dust and dog hair and that's just on the floors. If I run less than five I have to empty them for a second run. It's pretty amazing. They are charging now and will do an hour or two, tomorrow, sfter all are cleaned and blown out. When it gets too bad I run the Dirtdogs first. They don't have vacuum rather stiff brushes and can pick up larger object like you would find on garage floors like nuts and bolts. The floors got so bad my army of Scoobas wouldn't put a dent in them. Sissy spent a whole day using the Hoover Floormate so I can use the Scoobas now. I run six for several hours emptying and refilling each several times and have extra batteries. That's usually once a week. As long as I do it every day the Mint keeps small area kitchen floor reasonable. It doesnt have tanks or brushes but uses wetted microfiber cloths. My hired help used to vacuum the walls and ceilings every month. Kay saw it at its very worse. Price one pays having a herd of Large and GIANT country house dogs with 24/7 inside outside access. And extreme dusty outdoors.

In my defense, I understand why you couldn't use 'Scotty' but if you did, I would have made the connection right away.

I'd thought of using it...but then everyone would have thought of our Scott( Sterno) and then it WOULD'VE sounded dirty!

I think I'll change it again...Ed didn't give me permission to use what he posted a while ago...

but then , when did I ever ask for permission? Be back....
