I'm borrowing that, too!The poly will not peel if the mod is clean, and about, i dunno 8 months ago - i read a thread on here about the natural copper patina that occurs and so i coated my cv Reo before i ever used it.
Not all nice and paint it carefully stuff - i mean end of kitchen towel and slop it on! Took 3 days to dry ofc, but still looks good today.
There was nothing in the thread that suggested anything to revive the finish, just commiserations and ' oh - it adds character' types of posts.

I'd like to think that i can threaten HRH with 'getting a younger model - or maybe an older one' but she calls BS and so i watched Masterchef Aus again and marvelled at the potatoes. Such is life.
