The part of Canada that doesn't get enuf Snow :(
I'm being groomed for a position as a possible staff rep for the union. Double my pay plus all the benefits and even a car payment. But I dunno I think I'd have to join a gym or something or I'd get fat and lazy  and I don't wanna go there. I'm still thinking on the job the money etc is real tempting but I'm just not sure about sitting behind a desk. Maybe I can make my office in my new truck or maybe in my shiny new fifth wheel  then maybe I'd be ok :D

Good for you D

Take it and enjoy it, I've been in the union for 25 years and our BA's and Rep's pay never doubled. So if your rewarded with a scale increase like that then go for it.

Seeing how your not a beer drinker your weight will probably be fine as long as Gatlin keeps you busy.

Yup, smoking meat takes some patience. I taught myself how to do it, picked up a few pointers ere and there along the way also.

It's well worth it though once you get something you like!

Next step for me: learn to make my own tomato BBQ sauce and my own mustard based sauces.

Good morning Reoville. I think I might be pregnant. While frying eggs this morning I was greeted by a double yolker.

A smoker doesn't have to be fancy to work well. I've used a lot of different kinds and almost all will do the job once you learn their quirks.
Smoked everything from bologna (actually very good) to prime rib! I prefer simple recipes, no long marinating, and few exotic ingredients.

I bought a Big Green Egg about 4 years ago. That is one fantastic smoker. I can even run it when there is snow on the ground. I have done everything in it, including pizza. That is the best tasting pizza that there is! I have found that a regular bbq grill cannot get up to 600 degrees plus that will sear a great steak, yet run at 250 degrees for 15 hours to smoke a brisket to perfection. I am spoiled.

I went out today and shot a few pics of the hummingbirds. NOt a very sophisticated setup but I was fairly happy with what I got. Its tough to get them in flight as they move so fast and whats in focus is roughly two inches at 6 feet. So after about 50 shots I go these two. One male and one female. Ruby-throated hummingbirds. It was raining. When I get things back in order here Ill try some multiple lighting setups, closer flash units, faster flash durations etc.

There are a lot of hummers around my house. Amazing little critters.

Those are cool. I had a smaller version called a Komodo many years ago.
