Good evening folks!

" Fore I forget...

Tory, you have big hugs from me anytime you want em and you can always call me, I LOVE talking with you!....across the street huh?!:laugh:You're gonna miss him so bad!

Karen, I'm sorry your family is moving so far from you, I know you're the ultimate mama/grandma. I remember when you first posted pics of the youngest and he was in a snuggy thing across his mama's chest that she'd made herself. Sweet sweet pics.

Hi Scott( from this mornings greetings to me:laugh:...we must be passing each other on the e-way!

Cute kids!

The one on the left looks like a real goofball...LOL

Yes, they all have their moments! Their Mom said getting all four to sit and not make faces, or move was a chore! And after that pic the little one ran off since she had enough! LOL! I remember photos with my kids and it was always lots of fun!

Well, it's all planned! Going to go visit my daughter and family in Indiana tomorrow!

Kind of a mixed visit. They are going to move to Arizona soon. Sooner than expected from what I am hearing.

It will be very sad to see them go.

I still have some stuff at their house, where I use to live. Will be bring a few things back.

My youngest grand-daughter turns two tomorrow! Yes, the one that most of the veteran Reonauts that frequented the lounge heard about when she was born! It seems the time has flown by. Kassondra walking and talking like a big girl now!

I still remember when Darrel posted pics of Gatlin when he was born.

Will always love the lounge, and all my friends here!

Krista & Brian's gang!

What a beautiful bunch of kids. I've always loved children. I guess it's the Mama Bear in me. Whenever the kids around here play with my boy I watch over them like they were my own. They can get into trouble so quickly! Like throwing rocks straight up in the air. Sounds like a good idea..... They don't quite get the fact that the rock is going to come down :) hard..... They're like regular people only insane! Can you imagine if we left them to their own devices and they ruled the world? Lot's of "I can drive, watch this!" without the beer :)

It is such a joy to raise them, teach them, care for them and help them grow up to be happy. Slowly that's happened over the generations in my family. My grandparents were not very happy, as a result neither were my mom and dad (But my mom worked her way through it.) Now it's me and my boys. The older one is leading a good life, the younger is still learning with me. He's going through some hard times what with the divorce and all but that boy knows he's loved. And I've been a constant in his life. Always there for him. And he gets security from that. And happiness because I can be quite the 5 year old when needed so when his friends aren't out to play Daddy can play just as well. At least from an imaginative point of view. I did the same with my first boy. My first and second have only met once. I think there was some jealously on the part of the first boy as up until then he was my only child. My first boy has a child older than his brother so I can understand. It is my wish that they develop a relationship one day.

Oh my, off and wandering again, as usual.

I hope you have a wonderful time visiting with your family, Karen. My crystal ball says you will!

Hiya Kay,

Seems we just missed each other. Hope you have a great night, and weekend. My mom just moved into her new place a month or so ago. It is a lot of work. Hopefully you have someone to brainstorm with that can help you with things you might forget. For example, when my mom moved out of her old place she didn't even think about how to keep her old phone number. She's a therapist with a small practice so she couldn't lose the number (she had to move in with a friend while her new place was being built so she couldn't just transfer the number.) I had her transfer it to her cell phone as that was the only phone she had for nigh on a year. So, don't forget the details!

And thanks for the offer of hugs 365/24/7 :) Much appreciated!

You remember the sling! Yes, she carried her around in that all day when she was little. She now rides in a larger one on her Mom's back when they to out shopping.

I foresee Grandma visits after they move. It is the only way I can even deal with the thought of them being away......

Thank you so much Fleet! It is always exciting with the kids competing for Grandma's attention! I plan to take lots of pics. We shall see how that works out!! LOL!

Well, I expect to see some of those pics! Post 'em up when you can. I'm jealous, wish I could afford to go see my grandkids. Only seen them once in my life. My son won't get a webcam and they don't even know who their granddad is. :(

Good evening, REOvil!

Karen- I can't believe it has already been two years! Sorry to hear about the move...Arizona is starting to sound like a good place for a REOvil meet.

Val- your chile relleno recipe has me drooling! We are eating a lot healthier here lately, but stuck in a rut. Now I'm actually excited about the next grocery store day.

tnt- hope your doing better. You're in my thoughts!

Claudia- congrats on the new addition! It's good to see you again!

Happy Friday to everyone!

Question for y'all:

I'm looking at the thread information panel that shows who's reading the thread and there is a "+" sign after Rat2chat2. What does that "+" sign mean? That she's extra special? Already knew that :)

Edit: and if that were the case then there should be "+" signs for everybody!

I've just been checking out Mark Farner's website( Grand Funk Railroad) His sis lives here in my building and she's going with me to the Tigers-Yankees game on Aug. 28.

I found that he'll be doing a concert in Clarkston, Mi., just a hop , skip and jump from here!!! So next time I talk to her I'm gonna ask if she wants to go with me...cuz i'm goin ,come hell or high water!

Two things covered on my bucketlist in one little ole month! The man has a home upnorth here in Mi., as he was born n raised in this state...hunts , fishes, plays a mean guitar and is easy to look at:laugh:

Here's a sampling of his music:

Doesn't Pietro live there - or is that just a coincidence?? hehehe!

HRH insists i eat salad for lunch and so i acquiesce as long as it has bacon on it and Heinz salad cream, which i import. Seems reasonable to me.

and here's one from a couple of years ago...the man's aged like a really fine wine:laugh:

"Ice cold water running through my veins!" Yeah, I loved them when I was growing up. Steppenwolf was damn good as well. I still listen to some of the lesser known stuff. "Snowblind" is one of my favorites.
