Yeah! I don't get to do fancy dinners with the family all that often. It so much better than doing it with customers.

Good morning Reo friends! That sounds nice, Mike! We went to a restaurant I've never been to before in LaGrange. My wife has been before. Had one of the better chicken fried steak dinners I've had in awhile! This was no hamburger sized one, but filled half the plate Definitely a repeat performance later. And it's hard to find good ones. Another good restaurant is on 36 in Sealy. Haven't been there in quite awhile though.

Happy belated birthday, Dennis! I hope you have a Grand time with your daughter and her trio today!
The two week stint of care giving and taking on responsibilities for two homes caught up with me last night. Today is going to be bubble bath, REOs and movies day. My back misses my bed, can't kick my Momma out of it though.
Congrats to your soon to be Chef daughter, Mike! The best advice I could give an aspiring Chef is to take care of your body. Team lift heavy mixing bowls, and wear a back brace on truck days.

Hi to you too, James! Coffee's hot and REO is doing what it does, so I shouldn't complain. (but I am a woman, so there is always something to nag about)

I'm good. Doing the same as you but with hot tea. Had to back off the coffee as it was messing with my stomach too much.
Good morning everyone Dunno why I got up just after six this morning but I am enjoying the quiet 
Maybe I will go out and work on digging up the front garden we are redoing. I have a meeting this afternoon with the local dog rescue group I volunteer with it could be a gong show all these over zealous nags that are all fighting amongst each other I keep telling them I don't have time for their crap I don't care about them all I care about it the dogs Dogs are so much better than people Hopefully we can mellow them all out I am starting to think tho I should spike the drinks and coffee maybe they will all just beat the living daylights outa each other but then I remember that works best with men (no offence women) Wish me luck

Speaking of good restaurants...have you ever been to Truluck's? That is where my chef career started, you guys have one in Houston. I wanted to take my Mom there while we were in the city, but after looking at the menu I realized I can't afford it without the employee discount perk. Excellent stone crab, wine and a great Sunday brunch.
Off to make the oatmeal now.

Hi James, nice to meet you as well! Glad you enjoyed the tracks. I went back and listened to them and cringed.
Guess a few beers helps but we did have fun making them. My buddy had about 5 minutes before he had to go and said "hey, let's do this and record it" so we did. Really was a lot of fun. And it was the first time I've really used the recorder. For a handheld thingy it really works quite well. Again, thanks for the kind words and hope you have a great one!
