Jess...I'm using an 18650 MMKE flat top on my grand right now. It works...but I found with the plastic button top, it didn't work well. So if you don't have a button top you'll be fine. If you have the aluminum top, it should work fine.

Get this. There's nothing wrong with it. All they could find was code for 2 separate cylinder misfires. That's it. It runs perfectly, all fluids and filters are perfect (they should be, just had the 15K mile check up last week.) They've done everything they can to try to replicate the event from yesterday and nothing.

I have the 18650 2100mAh VTC 4s here and the Panasonic NCR18650PF that are coming from a co-op. Are these OK? I also have some efest IMR 18650s but I don't think they are holding charge very well.
I can get more batteries, but I am hoping I won't have to...I have so many. I guess, I could just start replacing the efest ones since they seem to be discharging more quickly than when I got them about 7 months ago.

Here's what you need to be careful of....The larger mah batteries tend to be slightly bigger than the recommended batteries. Ideally, you want these to leave enough room for the spring to do it's job in case of a short....which is to drop the battery away from the positive battery contact, breaking the connection and preventing the battery from overheating and consequently venting. Here is a picture of a battery in a grand that is just on the edge of being too big. IMO, you should have at least 2 coil spaces. If you are into sub ohm vaping then I would check to make sure those batteries can hang. Most of us prefer the AW IMR 18650 1600mah because it can handle the lower ohm coils.

All resistance in the accelorator (gas pedal) disappeared and it was on the floor, the RPMs went through the roof, but its like it wasn't even connected to the tranny. See what I mean? Like the tranny just dropped. Though I guarantee I would have felt that....so that wasn't it.
