Sorry...no it didn't...the power did...hard to explain from someone who has forgotten all she learned about rigs when she was younger. All resistance in the accelorator (gas pedal) disappeared and it was on the floor, the RPMs went through the roof, but its like it wasn't even connected to the tranny. See what I mean? Like the tranny just dropped. Though I guarantee I would have felt that....so that wasn't it.

So strange...sounds like it went into neutral for a bit. Then maybe flooded from the sound of the RPMs maybe? I have no idea. Just be very careful driving it in the future. Doesn't make me feel safe that they can't find anything wrong. Kinda like the doc that says you are just fine even though you are short of breath and having chest pains!

Left...not good. Right....good.

Thank you so much for the explanation. I am not going to do any sub ohm coils until/if I get the sub ohm kit. I am fine at about 1.2-1.6 on my lil IgoW so I don't see why I need to drop below that. If I use dual coils, I will make sure they are not less than about 2.2 each. I am so excited. Been watching videos on the Reo. I need to get some work done instead of obsessing but this is so much more fun!

Ya, I hear ya. The service manager is rather upset by it all. He let me take the car with explicit instructions to call him if anything weird happens from here on out. Got about 500' from my house before I called him. It happened again coming up my hill. I'm no speed racer, and I don't drive the little 4 banger like its a 302 stuffed mustang. Anyway, he asked me to come get his tech and take him for a drive. Tech now get's what's happening and took my car back for a while. I left with the loaner and am crossing my fingers that they figure it out. *shrugs* Guess I'll wait and see.

I am glad they finally got a chance to experience what is happening. Something has to be setting it off like that. It is always tough to verbally explain something that is not occurring at that time.

Enjoy your loaner! Hoping that they can resolve your car's problem and have it back to you soon!

I just have ...whatever came standard...lol little black buttons.

Are you talking about the fire button? They are referring to button top batteries I believe. Vapor Craft on Veterans sells button top AW's and Efest too.

Good for you..that just didn't sound like something that would happen once and be gone forever. I feel much better knowing they are gong to get into it a bit farther. It is so difficult to diagnose it if it is acting good. I have electrical issues in the big truck that always seem to disappear every time I take it to the 'doctor'.

The only part that concerns me is that if it happened once......and you may be on one of your long runs next time it happens. I kinda wish they had actually found the root cause, and not just reset the code. We don't want our modmother stranded out in BFE.

edit: once again, I could've read further on.

Very nice! An assortment of sizes too! Love the metallic purple and red.

Thanks! The pics don't do that finish justice at all. The finish on the metallic reminds me of the Harley Davidson 72 that I saw in the shop last year. Just gorgeous. I got them both coiled and wicked and I just love these guys.

That's a "Fairy dust" from driptipdesignz.com

Lovely Reo family you have there. :)

thank ya! Having trouble getting flavor going, after several coil adjustments. But lots of vapor. maybe I got too much cotton in there.

Less is more with the wick. And do you have it to the edge of the deck with the air hole lined up with the coil?

it's at the edge, and as close to lined up as it can get. I can't get t centered since the hole is right behind the post.
