I think dogs are so funny. Reo came in from the porch and kept coming to me and then going back to the door until i got up to see where Roxie was. She was stuck in a part of the porch that i blocked off and Reo told on her

My Rotti if left outside alone will just sit or lay at the door. Simba will bark and say let me in. Before Simba Bailey had spent hours accidentLly left out. Simba now tells us we forgot her it's pretty funny he gets so worried about her

Hows the french press working for you. A perfect thing to use with one of those is an electric kettle that has a removeable base, not built into the kettle. I never saw them used in the USA but in South Africa every household seemed to have them so I got one. They boil water fast and shut off automatically when boil is reached. Very handy especially if you use a french press, drink tea or use lots of boiled water.

I used to heat water in a saucepan and pour into the press over the sink.. until I spilled water all over my hand. now I have one of these! Happy belated Mother's Day to all the Mom's!
Happy birthday to Scott!
My Mom is sick...has to have the plaque removed from her carotid arteries that are at least 70% blocked. She has gone to her doc three times in the past year. The first time he told her to go see a shrink. The second time he told her "your rocks are loose" and to lay on her bed with her head hanging off. Finally on the third visit he sent her somewhere else to get some tests and we found out about her arteries. To celebrate Mother's Day me and Sister went to town to buy groceries and cook her a nice dinner. I told Sister on the way there that I wasn't feeling well and we needed to make this a quick trip. I grabbed up my stuff and sign languaged to her that I was going to the car. Sat and waited for 45 minutes watching my big splurge melt (gelato). I went back in the store to tell her to come on, we had a big fight in the middle of Kroger's and I went back out to the car to realize I couldn't get in because Mom took all the keys off of her key ring and put them in the console of the car, all I had was the ignition key. Five hours later we finally got home, threw my groceries in the trash and fed Mom leftover chicken, salad, carrots and peas.
Gonna try to make today a do-over on the Mother's Day thing.
