I wish we had time to slow down yesterday, Fleet. We were in the Birch Bay area and passed a street sign...Fleet Rd. :D Should have taken a picture of it.

Fleet St. in London, got it's name from my family. Used to be a pretty reputable street, now, I don't think so. Would have been cool if you'd have been able to get a pic of it, I'd get it 'shopped into my avi. :)

Oooh I wish I hadn't googled birdstrike. So sad. Poor suicidal birdies. I'm sure all will work out. Put another reason on my vast list of reasons I have never and will never fly. (in a plane anyway). lol

Flying is statistically safer than driving. Birds aren't suicidal, just dumb enough to not get out of the way of something bigger and faster. I know, I've had to clean out birdstrikes in jet engines before, can get nasty. For military aircraft birdstrikes, we have to collect the remains, they get sent off to the Smithsonian for identification and migratory tracking purposes.

What's worse though is batstrikes.... Have to collect those also.

Well, next time I head down to London, I'll look it up and see if I can find it.

That would be cool. Don't go out of your way to do it, I'll have to give up my regular avi which I kind of like having but I could switch between them. Now I just have to see if Doogietony would set me up.

Might not be the easiest street to find... London is pretty big. Don't count your chickens on the other side of the fence. Might be a few months before I head down there for anything either.

EDIT: just realized you quoted RF, and not me LOL.

Fleet Street in London is famous, where all the newspapers have offices, anyone will be able to direct you

You can look it up on Wikipedia, it has quite a long history. It doesn't mention my family. My first name is actually a surname from my family and that's what I was told. Could be false as Wikipedia says it was named after the Fleet River. Still, as a first name it's certainly different. :)

They would have to be to give up the ability to fly. Guess that is why sometimes people say I am a bird. or is it looney as a bird they say?

Good evening Reoville!

Hope everyone has a great holiday weekend!

Thank you to all who have served!

Bought my wife a Reo Mini and RM2 and Sashwa read about it and invited me to this thread. Have used Reo's in the past and happy to become a member of the family..... Next is a LP Grand for me.

Is it possible to convert a Nimbus or Trident V1 into a bottom fed rda? Would love to use 1 or the other or both on my grand.

evening Jim whats shakin ?

New month = nice, gentle start to the week for me, rather than the chaos that was last week! Oh yeah and i am in charge at work since certain people are on holiday, so splendid! :)

Sounds like you scored well on the meat buying; HRH does that when she shops alone - fills the freezer cos "it saves money"!
