Good morning, everyone! 
Spent the weekend down at the property, cutting brush and cleaning in general. Trusses are arriving now and I'm jumping back into production. Keep finding new mosquito bites I didn't know I had.

Don't know what to say exactly. I think it is fair to say all the people here take a deep breath and think of you and your wife with gentle and kind thoughts everytime we see you post an update. Sending hugs to your household.

Just wanted to pop in and say hi. I'm off to take my son to counseling, got a pretty busy week ahead of me. Probably won't see me much but we'll see.....

FRANK, (((hugs))) and prayers for you and your family. I have been keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.
Well, we started calling AC peeps this morning and they were all a day or two out. Then all of a sudden one said he could be here in 20 minutes! Apparently he was picking up parts and headed from the valley, so came over before he headed out. It was a capacitor, he happened to have the right one on the truck, it took no time at all and cost a lot less than a whole compressor. Sweet, sweet cool air! It's 90 degrees here at 10:30 am and climbing.
I need a nap, no one here slept well last night in the heat. As soon as it gets below 80 in here, I am sure I will nod right out

hi there Val glad your AC is fixed
I just talked to a friend and hers it out also. She has a Mastercool though, and they are easy to work on since it's basically a fan and a pump. The fan is working, so that pretty much rules out electrical and leaves the pump. DH took the day off since he didn't sleep well and was going to see what he could do to get our A/C fixed, so he went over there to help her out. Probably not what he wanted to do on a day off, but he knows how bad it was only over night without any cooling! It's over 100 now, and I cannot tell you how nice it is to be cool again!
Our dog is enjoying the new grass. I gave her a pig's ear and she trotted out and sprawled out in the grass to eat it. Usually she stays under the covered patio in the shade to eat her treats. It is so nice to look out the windows and see the green, and even better to see her on it enjoying herself
Your pigs ear reminded me of one of my favorite jokes:
Farmer Jones got out of his car and while heading for his friend's door, noticed a pig with a wooden leg. His curiosity roused, he asked, "Fred, how'd that pig get him a wooden leg?"
"Well, Michael, that's a mighty special pig! A while back a wild boar attacked me while I was walking in the woods. That pig there came a runnin', went after that boar and chased him away. Saved my life!"
"And the boar tore up his leg?"
"No he was fine after that. But a bit later we had that fire. Started in the shed up against the barn. Well, that ole pig started squealin' like he was stuck, woke us up, and 'fore we got out here, the darn thing had herded the other animals out of the barn and saved 'em all!"
"So that's when he hurt his leg, huh, Fred?"
"No, Michael. He was a might winded, though. When my tractor hit a rock and rolled down the hill into the pond I was knocked clean out. When I came to, that pig had dove into the pond and dragged me out 'fore I drownded. Sure did save my life."
"And that was when he hurt his leg?"
"Oh no, he was fine. Cleaned him up, too."
"OK, Fred. So just tell me. How did he get the wooden leg?"
"Well", the farmer tells him, "A pig like that, you don't want to eat all at once!"
