It most certainly is.

Yes, I'm sure I've seen it before but I've seen so much of his work.... The style is unmistakable. Except for maybe The Last Supper. I was in a museum once where people were looking at it and marveling at the 18th century work. I didn't have the heart to tell them he was still alive.

I used to live close to St. Pete, FL where they have the Dali Museum. The sheer size of his canvases cannot be realized from any art book. Some of them are huge. I have been a fan since my early teens. One can truly lose themselves in the detail that takes many hours to materialize. Great avi! My second favorite is Bosch. I can recognize his work just as easily.

Bosch is my #1. Too funny.

I had a set of postcards of Dali's entire works when I was in college and put each one of them up on my wall in my room at my fratetnity. I have several Bosch prints as well as Dali.

It's amazing what a little avi can convey :)

Good morning, REOfriends :)
Been working for a long while and didn't get the chance to keep up in here. Happy Birthday to those of you, I've missed  so sorry for being so far behind.
"Don't regret getting old, it is a privilege denied to many."

Books are off to print and I'm exhausted, yet have so much to do. Starting to feel stressed about the upcoming move, new school, work thing all coming together at the same time. Feel like I'm months behind...I've got 8 weeks left, 6 of which I'm working at full tilt. Not sure how we're going to get it all done. Need to pack and move (recycle or rehome) a bunch of stuff before we bring the movers in for the big stuff, build the front decks (8x30 and 8x25) and a ramp, buy shower doors and a couple of toilets, oh...and the appliances, need to buy those too...damn it!!! Was going to stress about the window coverings, but since we don't have neighbors....eh. They can wait, we can hang sheets for now. Doors are onsite and the windows should arrive any day now.

I hope this finds you all well...special hugs for tnt & Fleet...and anyone else who needs em. ((:)wub:)))

Bellingham is such a cool little town.
My son Chris lived there for several years in a cool old house at N Forest and E Magnolia.

My ex lives on Lummi island.
The one with the widows' peak? Those are some fabulous old homes in that district around the University. It is a cool town, but in the last 18 years, it has grown to feel more like a city finally....and it's time for me to head for the hills. :) Moving to Bow.

Lummi Island is nice...but a tad isolated...for most people. I've only been out there for work on new homes or remodels...so I don't know much about it. Totally dig the short ferry ride though. :D

Yeah, it even got her.
They just bought a condo in Fairhaven so when the weather gets too ugly they have a retreat away from the island.

LOL...That ferry can be an E ticket ride some days.

Your home is shaping up nicely. I can't relate to the headaches of building s new home but moving.....oh yeah a PITA! I hope that phase is much smoother for you and Wayne. Your still a star at taking great pics. ;)
