STEP AWAY FROM THE REOS......
Good Morning REOVille. Got a much needed night's sleep last night. Feel almost human again...
After a Wednesday/ Thursday overnight four-stop run to Tennessee and back, the Boss Man calls me at home around 5pm Thursday to ask a favor. The freight coming out of the Lowe's Distribution Center in Vonore, TN is slowing down for the season and I'm asked to Bob-Tail (truck, no trailer) 325 miles back to Vonore to pick up an empty Flat Bed Trailer and bring it back to Pageland SC. 650 paid miles, half no trailer and half empty trailer. Yea, I can do that. Put a second coat of polyurethane on this Lace Wood 18490 I've been refinishing and call it a day....

Only it's raining in Tennessee as I head out to Vonore. Bob-Tailing in the rain can be tricky as there is no weight on the back of the tractor so extra special attention to avoid Emergency Braking (go slower, leave room) through Knoxville and Alcoa and down to Vonore. Hook up to a Skate Board and start heading back. Empty Flat beds are called Skate Boars for a reason- Slam on the brakes in the rain and the trailer will pass you. On one side or the other. And the rain has reached into the Carolinas by now. Three accidents along I-40 between Lake Janeluska and Asheville have created a twenty mile backup. 15 hours of stressful driving later, I return home for a day off. And my Easy Vaping Mods.

Only... I've somehow gotten polyurethane on the firing button on my Lace Wood 18490. In my tired mind I think "just push it in to break it loose'. Bad Idea. Now it's stuck in the fire position. Just set it down, and grab a Grand to clean up and try some new e-juice. Remove the door, batteries, bottle and RM2 and (Hey Stupid. that's a Variable Volt Grand you just stuck under the faucet). Aw sheet....

Time to Step Away from the REOS, and go watch a Disney Movie just to slow down my tired mind....
After the movie, I did manage to free the Firing button on my little Lace Wood. Using 400 grit sandpaper, I cleaned up the firing button, leaving a beautiful glossy finished Wood with a greyish looking scratched up firing button. But it works. And, after leaving the VV Grand open overnight, it has dried out and seems to be working just fine again (wheh...). Morale of the Story... Sleep Does Matter.
Today is a rainy day in the Carolinas. Perfect Day for Old Man Naps. I think I feel one coming on now...
Good Saturday Morning REOVille. Enjoy your weekend, and Have a Safe and Blessed Day
