I love smoked turkey. Sometimes you can find just a turkey breast at the store. I will smoke one of those while I'm doing something else. Yummy.
I remember Dullas being in the sticks. Raised in Bethesda ( have never grown up) and before Dullas we were flying out of National Airport now RR Airport. Don't miss the heat and humidity one bit.
I'm missing Delilah. I hope she is ok and returns soon......Delilah.....
I miss Sweet D as well haven't seen her in a really long time

Good morning Reo friends! Sounds like you all had a great weekend of food! My weekend was alright, busy on Saturday, but Sunday, didn't do much. Today? Different story. I am going to be busy the rest of the year, I think. Have a great start to the countdown to next weekend
I was stationed in Warrenton and lived in a house at the base of the Blue Ridge mountains with my back yard the Shenandoah National Park. Absolutely stunning. I moved to Manassas for awhile until on-post housing became available in Warrenton. And you're right, when you left town, any town, you drove in the country until the next town. Kind of like where I live now here in Texas!
Wow not many posts today so far, guess on the plus side there isn't much catch-up another hot one today projectin' 100° again, lookin' forward to gettin' home and into the AC...

Such a bright and sunshiny day! Only getting to 81too! But the humidity and little rain that moves through make the air conditioning nice.
Here at work, as usual for a Monday.
Ordered a glucose meter. Seems I am pre-diabetic and will start Metformin this week. I want to check my level before I start and after.
Also ordered a recumbent exercise bike. I will try to improve my health by adding a little exercise. My check-up overall was not good.
Hope everyone has a wonderful afternoon and evening! I will do my best to make it through my work week of 64 hours!
