And another good morning Reo friends! I guess we got missed by this front that gave Houston all the rain :( All we got was dark clouds, lightning and thunder, wind, but not a drop. I am going out to water my trees tonight for sure. I don't care if it does rain afterwards. I'm not taking the chance of it not raining. I'm watching 26 from Houston and they got 3". Rats! Well, you all have a wonderful and safe day! :)

Good Morning Reoville!

Still here at work.

Funny how things can hit you whether you are at work, home, or even out and about. This morning I was sad. A favorite actor is gone.

But amidst the sadness I found myself smiling. He gave us so much. I think I have watched Mrs. Doubtfire a hundred times! So many hours of his talent to watch over and over. Then I heard he filmed another movie that will be released in November. I will watch it. It will be a final good-bye memorial for me.

Dang, sure is something that in this digital world we connect with people from across the globe easily and celebrate life with them and also mourn their passing.

The whole world has opened the door for us. So much simpler in the good old days.

Good afternoon Reoville. The county fair has hit our village this week which means it'll rain for at least 3 days and keep the attendance down. If you are ever in a drought condition wherever you live just have a fair come to town and the problem will be solved. I might try to get in tomorrow as a senior citizen. I am 8 months short of being officially a senior citizen (by their standards) which would allow me to get in free . Of course I look 39 and they will card me. :) Ha! Perhaps if I bring my cane it will add a few years. Maybe if I look grouchy, mean and miserable they won't bother checking my ID. But then again tomorrows weather looks like rain all day but I hear the siren song of those damn greasy blooming onions calling me. "Come hither you 64 year old con man. Surely the 15 bucks you saved by nefarious ways leaves money left over to eat me." THe sausage, peppers and onions cry out too..

Anyway yesterday I walked around the fairgrounds while carnie crews were setting up rides, farmers were bring in bovines, chickens, sheep, goats, bunnies and bearded fat ladies (which can be viewed for a ticket or two but must be done after eating your blooming onion). So here's a few pics taken while walking around pretending I belonged there.

Hello, I'm a relatively new Reo owner and need some help. I bought a Reo Grand VV from the classifieds and have been enjoying it very much. But it is starting to misfire, the button is an original recessed one. Does anyone have information on what button is recommended as a replacement for the original? Where to buy one and a part number. I haven't found any info on the Reo site pertaining to the Reo Grand VV (metal). I'm very anxious to get it working since it's become a favorite of mine.

The very first VV Grands had the recessed buttons. Because of problems Robert pulled them and put in the new buttons. He was doing it at no charge.

You might want to give him a call and check with him about yours. Telephone: 207-490-9783

Also there are users manuals for the VV Grand on site. http://www.reosmods.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=13&Itemid=21

The one I have has the recessed button. I didn't buy it new from Reo Mods so I'm pretty much on my own. I did view the manuals, but they don't cover the components.
Thanks for replying.
