Rachael, could his phone ringer be turned off or turned way down so he doesn't hear it and his voice mail full?

I wish! Last time I couldn't get through and ended up at his house (easter sunday) I stood right next to him and called him-it never rang. And I had already left him a few voicemails so he tried calling his voicemail-it said he had no new messages. It is weird. I will try to get ahold of him after I get youngest from preschool I guess. Just wish he wasn't so darn stubborn and would just go get a different phone!

could be! Actually I think it goes along with his whole depression issue. He just doesn't do anything-leaves the house long enough for dr visits or to grab something to eat at the store fast and that's it. He doesn't go see my mom, he barely comes here (unless food is mentioned!! LOL) My mom got put in the nursing home 2 years ago and about a month later my dad had 2 heart attacks, so darn it, I want to be able to get ahold of him if I need to! My mom doesn't always remember me and I don't wanna lose my dad on top of that ya know?

Sorry rambling/venting again :(
How would he react if you called the police for a welfare check? Would he take it more seriously if he knows/thought you were scared about his well being to a point where it had to include police? You called, you went to house couldn't get him to door, he has had 2 heart attacks in past seems to me you have enough reason to call for a welfare check.

I suppose I should go reheat last nights lasagna for hubby's lunch! Later folks...hopefully I will be happier next time I stop!

Hey, I'll be right over. Hope there's enough for two! I have to make my own dang sandwich!

As for the phone thing and your dad, do your research and then go on an outing near the local mall/store where you can say " Hey dad, let's get them to look at your phone!" Dad's sometimes forget that we make our daughters crazy. Ask me how I know!
